  August 19th, 10:14 p.m.

Jack's eyes scan the loud club despite the lights being far too dim to see very well. He could barely read the lable on the beer his was holding. James squirms in his seat across from him impatiently. He has been eager for tonight ever since Jack offered the idea last night, but Jack found himself hating the idea long before arriving.

Yesterday night he didnt get shit for sleep, tossing and turning in the bed, searching for her familiar figure but always coming up empty handed. This morning he barely filled his twisted gut with breakfast while James continually talked about all the trouble the two would get into tonight.

The rest of the day, Jack searched for anything to say to his fans in a vlog, but constantly stared at the small camcorder with a lack of words. So instead, he decided to just tweet out an apology for the lack of videos, and ask for patience before he's able to upload an explaination video.

When the two finally made it to the club, Jack discovered that despite the whiskey in him, he still didnt feel warm inside. So he decided to switch to beer for the rest of the night. James has been widly switching between the two all night, making Jack nervous that he'd be sick in the Taxi on the way home.

Jack assumes that they'd be taking a taxi, what with having no designated driver to get Jame's truck home that is. The two were already far too buzzed to safely drive home, but what with James being a stubborn bastard, Jack took the keys just in case he attempted it.

He does his best to ignore the god awful rap tune that causes him to grimace with distaste. This is nothing like her taste in music, he thinks to himself, preparing to make himself miserable once again with thoughts of her.

He remembers dancing with her whenever she'd play her music over the speakers. He can still hear the sound of her laughing along side him as they belted out lyrics and wiggled their bodies in silly ways. Her eyes would always sparkle at him when she laughed like that. So full and warm and sincere. He closes his eyes, still hearing it so perfectly.

He opens his eyes and lets them fall to the floor. Why does he torture himself like this? Thinking about her every second of every minute of every day. He misses her enough as it is, but hearing her laugh and seeing her smile in his head is just the cherry on the top.

James suddenly leans forward excitedly, grabbing Jack's attention with the sudden movement, dragging him back to the present as Jack tucks his hand back into his lap after reaching out blindly beside him for you.

"You should take her home." James points his beer off into the bar. Jack's eyes reluctantly follow his guesture, squinting into the barely illuminated corner, landing on a girl, standing quietly by her presumable friend.

Upon seeing her, he instantly begins comparing her to you. Her shoulders too broad, her fashion sense would make you cringe. Her hair is too short, and the wrong color. She's far too tall, her eyes too caked in makeup, her nose too large, her smile is crooked, her lips the wrong shape. Her body wont curve in all the right ways to mold against him perfectly.

She probably wont laugh when he belches to break the ear tinging silences. She might not be ticklish in all the same spots as you. She porbably wont appreciate his sarcasm or laugh at any of his jokes. She probably hates being teased and roasted. She would get annoyed with Jack's hands always searching for her. Jack tears his eyes away from her disdainfully. Shes nothing like you.

"Awe, come on! Why not? Shes a hotty!" James shouts past the music, leaning his elbows on the table. Jack grudgingly meets his friend's eyes.

"She's not her." Jack mumbles just above his breath, unsure if James could hear him past the terrible music.
