Lucinda's point of view

"What to do, what to do..." I mutter to myself as I pace about the room. This place is nice.... it is not just nice, it is beautiful! Even covered in dust and ruin, it was lovely. There is so much history here, and yet I had no idea it was here... how? How is it possible that the castle is here? Surely with it being so close to the village, someone would have known it was here...

"Lucinda?" Isabelle pulls me out of my thoughts, I glance at her. "Do you mind pausing your pacing? Watching you be stressed, is making me stressed! It's giving me a head ache!" Isabelle complains from the bed.

"Huh?" I stop walking and turn to her. Her pale face looks back at me, lines of worry on her forehead. I look to the ground and shake my head. "Apologies," I whisper, crossing the room and walking up to the window. "It's just... This is harder than I thought."

This castle is quite large... filled with multiple servants. It does not help us that they are invisible to the eye. It will make it harder to escape. Even though the castle is very beautiful, looks can be deceiving. And I know that staying here is not the safest choice for my sister and I. That monster, these servants call master, tried to kill me. I can assume he is still wants to.

"Well, come on, then! I know you will think of something!" She encourages me. I look back at her and smile.

"Thanks," I grin. I sigh and lean against the wall next to the window. I wrap myself in my arms, biting my bottom lip. How are we going to get out of here? There are too many rooms in this castle to count, we are more likely to get lost than to find our way out of this labyrinth. I groan, placing my hands on the window seal, I lean my head out of the open window, glaring at the dozens of feet below me. My eyes wander the courtyard, I wince at the sight of the dead flowers buried in the large piles of snow.

I continue to stare out, my eyes widen at the sight of the large wall of stone. I turn my head to right then to the left. The wall seems to go around the entire estate, almost like the fence back at home. I squint at the wall. Perhaps we do not need to escape through the castle... if we could just get to the wall... we could climb over it, run through the woods, and then we would be home free!

I smile.

The lonely problem is... how are we going to get down? I stare down, biting my lip as I try to figure out many stories we are from the ground outside. It doesn't matter, there are too many floors. If we were to jump, we would most likely die from the fall alone. We need something to help us climb down.

I turn back to the room, my eyes snap to the fire place, I stare curiously at the fire iron leaning against the wall. Unfortunately, there was only one fire iron, which means we couldn't use it to help us climb down. Hm... what else is there...?

Isabelle groans and face plants into the piles of covers on the bed. "What are we going to do? If we can't escape, does that mean... we'll die here?!" Belle gasps and grabs her head. I look at her blankly. The covers underneath her catches my eye.

"Hold on a second..." I say and run up to her.

"I beg your pardon?" Isabelle questions, giving me a confused look before I shove her off. She groans as she hits the hard floor. "Hey! Lucinda! What are you...?!"

Grabbing two ends of the blankets, I quickly tie them together. I tug on the opposite ends, the blankets stay strong, the knot holding. I smile.  "This might work!" I laugh and tie more of the extra blankets together.
