Lucinda's point of view

"And as we take a left down the hall, we will find what once use to be the great hall," Domain says as we continue to walk down the cobwebbed halls.

"Use to be?" Isabelle asks, following close behind me.

"Ah, yes. This castle used to be so many things, all of them long forgotten now." Domain sighs and leads us to the right. "Anyhow! Let's continue with the tour shall we?"

We descend down a old stair case, as I grab onto the railing my eyes go up to meet the stair case across from us. I ignore Domain's lesson, taking several steps toward the mysterious stairs.

I begin to take the first step up-

"Mademoiselle! This way, if you please," Domain calls after me, his floating candle stick at my sister's side.

"Why not this way?" I ask, looking back up to the dark stair case.

"We do not go that way. Never, go that way." Domain warns, his candle stick shakes as if shaking his head no.

"Yes, but why?" I again ask, taking another step up. "What's up there?" I question, peering into the watching darkness.

"That's enough!" He snaps, the candle stick suddenly in my face. "Now, mademoiselle, if you please follow me, I can continue your tour."

"No, thank you," Isabelle speaks up. I look at her as she yawns, "I would like to go back to the room now."

"Very well, perhaps we can continue the tour at a different time," Domain says, the candle stick floats pass me as leads Isabelle back the way we came before stopping.

Isabelle looks back at me as she too stops. "Lucinda?" She calls, tilting her head. "Aren't you coming?"

I give one last glance at the stair case, and say, "Yes, coming." But as I move to follow after her, out of the corner of my eye I saw one of the shadows move.

I whip head back around, when Isabelle grabs my hand and tugs me after her as Damian shows us back to our room.
