Lucinda's point of view

I sigh and stomp to the door, opening it, my eyes widen as I saw Domain. "Yes?" I ask.

"Forgive my intrusion, mademoiselle," he mumbles, fiddling with his fingers. "But the master begs of you both to please return to dinner."

"If he wishes for us to return so badly, why didn't he come himself?" I raise a brow.

He chuckles under his breath. "He thought it'd be better to clean himself before being in your and Isabelle's presence."

I giggle, remembering the look on the beast's face with the plums smashed all over his face. "I understand, but unfortunately, I don't think we should return." I take a step back. "Good night, Domain." I start to close the door when a foot stops it.

I quickly open the door, concern fills me as he pulls his foot back with a quiet groan. "Please, I beg of you, mademoiselle, at least one of you go. The master has little patience and I fear he may take it on us if neither of you are to come." He whispers, I bite my lip as I met his begging gaze.

I take a deep breath and sigh. "I won't risk my sister's well fair with him," I mumble. "I shall go, since I must."

A smile takes over his sadden look. "Thank you, mademoiselle! I thank you for your kindness!"

I grin back at him and nod. "Don't thank me yet, I will need your help finding my way there." I say, waving my hand to the dark hallway. He quickly agrees, I begin to take a step out of our sanctuary when my hand was grabbed.

I turn and meet Isabelle's worried gaze. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" She whispers.

I shrug. "Honestly, no. But I'm tired of running, besides, I'm a big girl. I'm sure I can handle some big, bad beast."

Isabelle giggles and nods. "Maybe I should worry for him instead of you!" She joked.

"I'll be fine, Belle." I reassure her, giving her hands a squeeze. "Stay in the room until I return, okay?"

She nods sadly. "Okay."

I turn back to Domain. "Lead the way."

                                             ~~~
I step into the dinning room, my eyes wide as I stared at the clean room. It was as if the beast's temper tantrum had never happened.
Speaking of the beast.... where-
The door suddenly slams open, my captor stomping inside before shoving himself into the head chair. I barely blink a eye at him, although by the heavy glare, I couldn't say the same for him.
"Where is your sister?" He growls, servants hesitantly passing him as they place down the platters covered in food.
"Oh? Am I not enough to keep you company?" I smirk and reach for the cooked goose.
"Well, between the both of you, she is the fairer maid." I drop my fork, I could distantly hear it clatter against the wooden table. "After all, who wouldn't trade a raven for a dove?" I look up and glare at him.
"Honestly, I am surprised a beast such as you would know Shakespeare," I smile as I heard one of the servants snicker.
He scowls and snarls at the servant, immediately cutting off their quiet laughter. "I would find it stranger that a girl would know how to read, to know his fine works." He remarks, still not yet touching the food.
I take in a deep breath. Breathe Lucinda, breathe!
"Just because I am not a man shouldn't mean I can't read!" I snap and stood. My chair squeaking as I forced it back with my sudden movements.
