3rd person,
"Where is she?!" The master shouted and threw a chair at the wall. Domain ducked, the chair barely missed his head.
Domain cleared his throat. "She is on her way, master." He said and clasped his hands behind his back. Domain winced, his back still ached from the whipping he got as punishment for the window incident.
He shook his head to himself. He should have never let Lily have usage of the palace's keys. He shivered. Only God knows what would happened if Lucinda didn't get there in time... or if the master didn't catch Lucinda.
Domain shook himself from his thoughts and returned his attention to his master.
The master was tense, that was easy to tell. His fur standing on end with his ears perked up at the smallest sound.
Master suddenly stopped, his wide eyes stared at the red rose. Domain followed his gaze and sighed as another petal fell from the rose in the glass. The white roses surrounding the room shriveled up more as the castle walls shook.
"Time is running out, Domain." The master whispered, he touched the glass covered rose. "I.. I'm trying. I want to free all of you of this curse, but..." he sighed and dropped his clawed hand to his side.
"Women are complicated, master. This, I know very well," Domain chuckled, trying to lift the heavy atmosphere.
The master said nothing, he only stared at the mirror in his hand. Domain, too curious for his own good, walked to his master's side and peered into the looking glass.
Domain smirked at his master and stepped back. "I think you are on the right track, master."
"How?" The master huffed and gently placed down the mirror. "She despises me, loathes me entirely! She ignores every good thing I give to her! We do nothing but argue! And when we don't argue, she is in some kind of trouble! She is so reckless and selfless, it's maddening! I don't understand her! I don't understand why she makes me feel so.. so..." He grits his teeth.
Domain's smirk continued to grow as his master ranted about the girl.
The master noticed. "Why am I telling this to you, go find Mrs. Thompson!" He snaps.
Domain nodded and turned to leave. Yet he couldn't help but noticed one of the roses in the beast's bushes were missing. It's stem slashed, but not with a knife...
Domain shook his head and opened the door, closing it behind him.
His eyes widen as he stared at the woman in front of him. Mrs. Thompson was already here, her eyes wide with panic as they stared at him.
"How... How is he?" She whispered, her voice kept low to avoid the master's strong hearing.
Domain sighed. "He is upset, but not too upset." He whispers back and went to her side.
She nodded and took a deep breath.
Mrs. Thompson trembled where she stood, her silver hands shaking at her sides. Domain looked down at his companion, his smile gone as he stared at her.
"I'm sure you will be fine, madame," Domain whispered and gently took her hand in his. "You are like a mother to him, he could never hurt you!" He tried to reason and gave her hand a squeeze.
Mrs. Thompson did not listen to his words, how could she? She was petrified standing in front of the master's bed chambers. The master had called for her, she knew why she was here. He knew why she was here.
Mrs. Thompson shivered. She could only hope the master would have some mercy for her old soul. The two servants held their breath as the door cracked open, the master's face the only thing in view.
