Luckily for Seraphina, Leonard, Mick and the rest of the group had found her when she was reaching the outside of the city limits and they all decided to walk together as a group. Seraphina walked shyly in the back of the group and watched as they approached the place that the address had directed them to. She saw Professor Stein next to his car, waiting. Wait, was that Jax passed out in the shotgun? 'Holy shit! Did the professor roofie him?!?' She thought, very surprised. Seraphina held back a snort, she never suspected that the professor was capable of something like that.

"Professor!" Leonard called out in his regular always-snarky sounding voice. "This is the place." He said as they walked up to the professor and his car.

"I think we're being punked." Ray said, looking around. Everyone gave him a strange look. "Do people still say punked?" Seraphina shook her head at him, giving him a small, amused smile. He smiled back at her, looking slightly embarrassed.

"No." Said the attractive blonde, also looking very amused. Mick looked over at Jax's unconscious figure.

"I see your buddy threw himself a little going-away party." He grumbled, amused. (Lots of amusement going on around here lol) Stein looked at him with barely noticeable guilt. For Seraphina though, it was clear as day.

"Yes, I think he drank something that didn't quite agree with him." He stated, eyeing the group. Seraphina giggled and the professor and the group gave her a curious look. She stopped giggling and shrank back shyly, not saying anything. Leonard, who was looking at her with a strange look on his face, strange to her at least, turned his gaze to look at the mixed woman.

"You don't look happy to be here." He drawled out with a smirk on his face.

"Perceptive." Was her snarky response.

"Well, I see you've all decided to come." Seraphina looked up to see Rip walking towards them. He rubbed his hands together. "Well then, we can be on our way." He turned around.

"Wait... we're not walking, are we?" Seraphina asked quietly, voicing her thoughts out loud without thinking first. Everyone in the group turned to look at her in surprise, having never heard her speak up until then and not expecting her to do so either. Professor Stein was surprised because she never talked to strangers, she talked to him and Jefferson only because they were good friends. She smiled shyly at them, the embarrassment showing on her cheeks. She caught Leonard's eye and he gave her a strange, somewhat kind, look.

"I ain't footing it anywhere." Leonard stated, crossing his arms in front of him. Seraphina mentally thanked him, as everyone stopped staring at her and instead focused their attention on Leonard and Rip. Rip turned back around and gave him a somewhat exasperated look.

"A Time Master's sacred charge is to do no harm to the timeline. Can you imagine what a timeship would look like in, say, Victorian England?" He held a small device in his hand.

"Holographic indigenous camouflage projection." Martin Stein said in awe at the same time as Seraphina thought it. Rip smirked and gave a small nod towards the professor.

"Indeed." He responded, holding up the device and activating it. Suddenly a futuristic spaceship materialized in front of them like magic. It had a bright orange light shining from the engines and the letters and numbers WR-2055 in white painted on the side of the light grey hull. Everyone stared at it with their own expression of surprise and awe.

"Oh." Was all Seraphina said.

"It's called the Waverider." Rip said with pride. "It's been my ship for over a decade." He looked back at the group. "Shall we?" Everyone walked forwards, in a staggered line. Seraphina stayed in the back and watched as Stein stopped Mick.

"Excuse me, would you mind, um," He stuttered, gesturing towards Jax, still passed out in the shotgun of the car. Seraphina continued to walk towards the ship after making sure Mick got Jax safely out of the car. She rushed to catch up and slowed when she was next to Leonard.

"Thank you." She whispered to him, probably the last thing she would say to him until he gained her trust but she felt it was not only kind, but necessary for her to say thank you to him. He smirked at her and crossed his arms.

"I don't do that for just anyone, sweetheart, but don't expect me to do it again anytime soon." Seraphina just gave him a small, grateful smile and continued walking beside him. What she didn't know as that he continued to look at her until they were onboard the timeship.
