A/n - MoonWolf: Sorry if any of the episode two chapters suck. It is my least favorite episode actually and I don't think it will be as good. Bear with me here ;)
(Leonard POV)
The ship traveled to Norway and when they arrived, Rip quickly landed them down.
"Aaaaand we've arrived. Gideon if you wouldn't mind camouflaging us as an alpine meadow, perhaps?" Rip instructed Gideon as everyone unbuckled themselves. Seraphina was in the very right seat, fast asleep. Her head rested on Leonard's shoulder, his parka acting as a pillow for her head. The fly from New Orleans to Norway hadn't been that long but she had been tired. Leonard was watching her with a smirk, but his eyes held a look that was compassionate and caring. Though he wouldn't admit that he felt those things towards her himself, much less to anyone else. He looked over to his left to see his best friend Mick holding his head in his hand giving a groan.
"What are you complaining about now?" Leonard asked him questioningly, voice sounding sarcastic like always. "It's not like we time-jumped.
"I hate flying, especially in..." He paused, "whatever this thing is."
"Where exactly are we?" Carter asked Rip.
"We're still in 1975, right?" Kendra followed up with a question of her own.
"Indeed." Rip stood up. "October 1975 on the fjords of northern Norway." He told them.
"Sounds like a vacation." Leonard drawled. He watched as Seraphina's eyes fluttered open, she looked around tiredly as everyone was standing up. She lifted her head off his shoulder and smiled sleepily at him.
"Thank you." She whispered.
"Whatever for?" He asked doggedly. She gave him a 'seriously?' look before smiling slightly and rolling her eyes.
"For being considerate." Was her answer. Leonard felt, and hoped he didn't look, pretty taken aback. No one had ever thought, much less told him, that he was anything even close to considerate before. Guess growing up with an abusive dad and being a criminal made someone feel much less than considerate. He put up his emotional cold front and just smirked in response.
"You're welcome... I guess." He drawled with a smirk. They focused their attention back on Rip, both standing up as well.
(Seraphina POV)
"Which we can take as soon as the threat of Savage has been neutralized, Mr. Snart." Rip was saying, responding to Leonard's earlier statement about vacation. Rip was in his office. He grabbed a notebook, walking back down to the control center.
"That's Aldus's notebook." Carter stated when he saw it. Rip gave him a nod.
"Now he theorized that Savage might" He paused for a split second, emphasizing the word 'might', "be here, and if he's right, and if we can capture Savage, then at least Professor Boardman didn't die in vain."
"Can't we just go back and save Aldus?" Kendra asked incredulously.
"He was our son." Carter added. Seraphina bit her lip at this, guilt beginning to fill her. She looked over at Sara who was giving her a reassuring look. 'It's not your fault.' She mouthed to her. Seraphina nodded and looked back over at Rip.
"Look, I'm sorry. We can't go back and change events in which we have participated. Time would fold in on itself, creating a temporal vortex." Rip explained, sounding slightly agitated.
"Which sounds way cooler than it is." Ray said, sounding a bit fearful himself. Sara leaned up against the command module.
"Forgetting physics for a second, shouldn't we figure out what Savage is doing in Norway?" Sara asked Rip, changing the subject and bringing them all back on topic.
"According to Gideon, there is a large meeting of terrorists and fringe groups looking to buy illegal arms." Rip told them.
"Now that sounds like a vacation." Mick stated, still sitting.
"Arms dealers and terrorists aren't exactly our kind of people," Leonard started with a disgusted sneer on his face, but then that sneer turned into a smirk as he leaned over on the control module, "but they're the next best thing." Seraphina gave him a disapproving look from behind and he turned his head slightly and caught her eye. He winked at her and she rolled her eyes, holding back a smile.
"Well looks like you and your lapdog get to earn your keep." Carter said rudely. 'Rude!' Seraphina thought to herself. Sure, they were criminals but they were still people. She looked at Carter with an incredulous look on her face.
"I'm no one's lapdog, bird-man." Mick stated threateningly back. Seraphina looked at them all angrily.
"Stop arguing and being so rude to one another!" She told them firmly, huffing out air afterwards, frowning and eyebrows furrowed. Everyone looked a little shocked and Carter and Mick both gulped slightly. Everyone on the ship definitely did not want to see her mad. Sara looked at Seraphina and winked playfully at her.
"So," Kendra started up a conversation, "what exactly does one wear to a blackmarket arms bazaar, anyway?" She asked.
"The Waverider has a fabrication room which can fusion temporally-indigenous, uh, fashion." He informed them, walking back up into his office.
"You gotta room that makes clothing?" Jackson asked, an eyebrow raised questioningly.
"Doesn't everyone?" Rip responded sarcastically.
