Season One: Episode One: Part 7

The car ride back was quiet at first, other than the 70s music playing on a low volume on the radio. Sara was driving intensely, Mick was snoring in the shotgun, Leonard was simply staring forwards and Seraphina was looking out the car window, watching as people and scenery went by in a blur. Seraphina looked over at Leonard, examining his face. He had a bruise on his jaw that was spreading and he was unconsciously moving his jaw.

"Um, Leonard? You're injured. I could heal it if you'd like..." She stated quietly. Leonard smirked at her.

"You're worried about me? I'm touched. But I'm fine." He drawled, looking at her with a smirk and a look in his eyes that totally said 'back off'. Sara looked back at them in the rearview mirror with a snort.

"Since when did you become shy again, Ser?" Sara questioned. Seraphina laughed lightly and shrugged. "Anyways, I think you should both stop flirting with each other and just heal him. Besides, I want to see your powers in action."

"What do you mean flirting? Why would anyone flirt with me? No one has done that before." Seraphina asked generally confused. Sara rolled her eyes, wishing she could face palm with out taking her hands off the wheel or her eyes off the road. Seraphina looked back at Leonard. Wait... was that a blush on his face? His cheeks looked pinker then usual... She shook her head, maybe she was seeing things. She placed her hand on his jaw. She focused on the injury on his face, staring intently. Her powers were more scientific than magical, her rapidly regenerating cells interacted with the injured person's cells and when they touched the injured ones, the injured ones immediately began regenerating at a way faster pace than normal. The bruise immediately began to disappear, Leonard's skin returning to its normal color.

"There, I, uh, I finished. How do you feel?" Seraphina pulled her hand back, looking at her handiwork.

"I feel fine." He reflected her question. Seraphina recoiled slightly and looked down in her lap, silent. She sighed and began to look out the window at the outside world of 1975 flashing by.

The small group drove up to see smoke rising from places on the ground, the team in disarray and on the ground and a man in black Boba Fett-like armor about to set off a bomb. His back was to them. Sara sped up and twisted the wheel, hitting the Boba Fett looking guy with the back of the car, sending him flying forwards onto his face. Sara quickly put the car and park and they opened the doors.

"We go out for one lousy drink," Leonard began testily, firing up his gun and holding it steady, "and you guys somehow manage to pick a fight with Boba Fett." Ray in his suit and Jax and Matin as Firestorm flew out of the Waverider. They began to shoot both fire and lasers along the ground towards where this Boba Fett character was beginning to stand up. Rip began to get up as well, tapping Professor Boardman on the back. Meanwhile, Boba Fett was shooting back at Ray and Firestorm with a laser gun. Then he noticed Rip and Professor Boardman, the group of four behind them, running to the ship for safety, he aimed the gun at the Professor and shot it, sending him flying backwards. Kendra and Carter (who was still ugly(you can tell my opinions on this man lol)) flew down to check on him and help him get to the timeship. Boba Fett continued to shoot at them as they got onto the ship, Mick and Leonard shooting their respective heat and cold guns back at him as Kendra and Carter guided Professor Boardman on board (lol the name tho). Once he was on board, Rip closed the door to the Waverider.

"Professor Boardman as sustained severe injuries." Gideon informed them once they were onboard.

"Prepare the MedBay to receive Professor Boardman and get us out of here! Ms. Allen you go with them to secure him in the MedBay!" Seraphina nodded and headed off with Kendra, Carter and Professor Boardman. Once the Professor was secure Seraphina rushed to the center control room. The Waverider lifted off and she rushed to her seat from before, strapping in as it traveled to the temporal zone.
