Always Only You

Part 5

~ Bhalla House , Kitchen ~

Ishita thought about the time she was pregnant with Anjali and how much she had hated her condition.

~ Flashback ~

She hardly ate anything and irregularly and cried a lot. She was often awake all night without sleep and never slept more than 2 hours

During the day she tried to occupy herself. She took care of Ruhi, Adi and the household. Raman and the other family members try to convince her that it was too much, but Ishita did not stop.

This, of course, affected the unborn child. Ishita was still so affected by the rape and her body was constantly in a state of stress.The doctor had told her it was not good for the baby.

She was on the verge of premature birth a few times. Raman, Mamij, Amma, Vandu, Mihika ... talked to her and told her to eat regularly, to rest.... During a routine check-up, the doctor found that the baby was under-supplied.The baby was underdeveloped and far too small.

Raman had asked her then if she wanted to kill the child. She cried because she could not love her baby. She loved Rudi and Adi, but the baby that grew up in her, she didn't love .

Raman stayed at home very often and worked from home. He  forced her to eat. He knew how hard it was for Ishita, but this child had to survive.

She felt no joy, the baby moved and kicked in her and she could feel it, but she did not enjoy it.

She tried to eat regularly, but mostly she vomited . Raman took her to the hospital.
Ishita received sufficient fluid, minerals and all necessary nutrients such as carbohydrates and amino acids by infusion. In addition, Ishita vitamins were given.

2 weeks later she was allowed to go home. Tea and toast was the only thing, she did not vomit

She never talked to the baby or stroked her belly. She had never thought if it was a girl or a boy.

Raman and the family took care of Ishita around the clock so she and the baby are fine.It was a difficult pregnancy.

Ishita had a hard time. She had to handle the rape. Then there was this difficult pregnancy. Pregnant from the man ,who raped her, was unbearable.

She was in labor 12 hours and when Anjali was born she was too weak to scream. It was a difficult birth. Anjali was born in the 38. week of pregnancy, at the right time, but was developed like a premature birth.

Anjali was far too small and malnourished. Vitamin D deficiency. She had to be medically treated and placed in a incubator. She was artificially fed and got medicine to ripen her lungs.

When Ishita heard no screaming, she thought her baby was born dead. At that moment, she felt so much pain and guilt. She had killed her child. She started crying and screaming. The doctor told her that her baby was a girl and  lives and receives medical care.

Ishita had a nervous breakdown,got an injection and fell asleep ... Ishita got an infection and had a fever for days.

When she felt better, Raman asked if she wanted to see the baby, but she said that she would not feel well yet.

A few days later Raman came into the room  with a wheelchair. He lifted her out of the bed and put her in the wheelchair. She protested, but Raman rolled her straight to the baby.

She stood by and looked at the baby. That was her child, it was so tiny and helpless. All the pipe sounds and devices,the baby had a needle in the back of his hand so that it would be supplied with an infusion of medicine. A nasogastric tube in the nose so that it was nourished.
