Amma performed a Puja before the festivities started .The Family blessed the unborn baby and showered Ishita with blessings and gifts.

The next few weeks were like a time bomb. Ishita felt sick most of the time. Everyone was very worried and expected a premature birth at all times. Ishita was mentally getting worse, the only joy she had, was when Adi and Ruhi were around her.

Raman help her, as far as she let him. She let him help her in and out of bed. She also let him pull her shoes on and off. But her feet massaged Amma or Mihika. While showering, Vandu helped her and also when dressing and undressing helped her Vandu or Simmi.

Ishita had to go to the doctor every few days and was examined. The doctor wanted to leave the baby in her stomach for as long as possible.

Raman only worked from home. Ishita was no longer allowed to walk alone with the children in the park or playground. Raman and the family hoped that Ishita and the baby would do it . 10 weeks remaining.

36th week of pregnancy

The doctor still hoped the baby would wait another 4 weeks because it was so small and light, every day the baby was still in her stomach counted .

But the baby was also under-supplied and the doctors consider whether it might not be better to bring the child by Caesarean section. Ishita's doctor wanted to keep the baby as long as possible in the stomach but the chief physician wanted to get it by caesarean section. They discussed and came to no result.

Finally, IshRa decided to wait until the baby was ready. As long as no danger to life existed. Ishita now had to go to the clinic every day for a check-up

August 13, 2005 ~ 38 week of pregnancy

The family had gone to friends and taken the children with them. Ishita and Raman were alone at home.

Ishita came out of the bathroom with pain in her back that was now moving to her stomach. She felt that she was wet between her legs and thought that she was in the bathroom just now, did she have a bladder weakness now?

It was running down her legs and she knew something was wrong. She got panic and called for Raman. From the sound of her voice, Raman knew immediately that something was wrong. He ran up the stairs to the bedroom. Ishita stood in the middle of the room and cried.

"What"s wrong."?

"Raman, I think my water is broken."

Raman looked puzzled..."Water broken."

Ishita pointed to her stomach ... Yeeees."!!!

"Ohhhh." Now Raman understood

"Don't panic, we're going to hospital now and everything will be fine. Do you feel any pain."?

Ishita cried ... "my back and my stomach, but right now the pain is gone."

Raman was nervous, he took Ishita's bag, which was packed for the hospital and went with her carefully down the stairs. Ishita clung to Raman and he carefully helped her down.

As she sat in the passenger seat, he strapped on her. Raman could see the fear in her eyes and spoke reassuring words to her. As he sat in the driver's seat, he called Vandu. Iyer"s and Balla"s made their way to the hospital

~ Hospital ~

Ishita was examined...The doctor explained IshRa After a water breaking, the child must be born within 24 h because otherwise germs can invade the uterus and mother and child companions. If within 12 h no regular contractions open the cervix, a Pitocin-drip created. If that does not help either and delay the birth unnecessarily, it can also come to the caesarean section.
