Myracle Kristine Lopez, born to Teodoro Lopez and Atty. Emmalyn Cuervaz-Lopez on January 28 at the beautiful country of Midea. She is truly a miracle for her parents and brother. Her mother had three miscarriages before she was born. Her father, is a well-known engineer and real estate broker and businessman. Atty. Emmalyn Cuervaz, her mom is the sole heir of Cuervaz Electronics and Cuervaz Group of Companies.

They lived in Garapan, the capital city of Midea since she was born. She has an older brother, Teodoro Lopez II or TJ as they call him. Her brother is a Chemical Engineer by profession but decided to take up extra courses on business. TJ has his own business endeavors. Currently he has his own chemical laboratory located in Kagman. The northern part of Midea and is also their father's deputy CEO of their companies.

She studied in a well known University in the country and took up Bachelor of Elementary Education with Specialization on Special Education. She is fond of teaching children with special needs. She got her bachelors degree at the age of 20, got her Masters degree when she was 22 and got her Ph.D. when she was only 24.

Even though her family is rich, she maintained a low key life. She is a frequent volunteer when it comes to civil works that benefit children with special needs. She teaches at the Public School System of Garapan. Her home town. She is teaching at the middle school level. Grades 6 through 8. The school population of students with special needs was 30. For the past two and a half years, this is the only school year that she had 30 students. It was usually around 20-24 kids for one school year.

It was a Tuesday, after a long weekend when she was in the middle of her review lesson when she was called by her principal through the intercom of her classroom.

"Ms. Lopez, please report to the office. Thank you."

Kristine gave reminders to the students and asked for questions but her students seemed to understand the lessons. She left her students to her two trusty teacher aides. Ms. Rose and Ms. Angie.

Kristine looked at her teacher aides and told them what to do.

"Just guide them on doing their math work. I'll be back once I'm done from the office. If I don't come back by bell time, please send the students back to their respective class and you may take the 6th graders for their reading pull-outs. Ms. Angie please work with Jonathan with his phonics and writing goal."

Kristine then looked at Ms. Rose and gave instructions for the next group of students to pull out for reading services.

"Ms. Rose can you get the students in Mrs. Rodriguez' class and have them do their reading work. You can use the iPads for their activities. They should know their usernames and passwords."

The lady in her 50's smiled at her and patted her shoulder. "Okay. I got it. I'll just message you if there is something that needs your immediate attention."

She thanked her teacher aide and started to walk going to the school office.

Her teacher aides know what to do already since they discuss what is expected for them to do for the whole day of class. The two teacher aides are in their late 50s - 60s but they are great in teaching their students. Her students love being thought by the two ladies.

She went to the Principal's office. She took a deep breath before she knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

She opened the door and her supervisor motioned her to have a seat.

"Can I offer you anything to drink Ms. Lopez?" her supervisor asked.

She kindly responded to her supervisor. "I'm fine Mrs. Parker but thank you for your offer."

She has been working with her supervisor for almost two and a half years already but as a teacher, every time that someone is being called by the principal to their office, they always feel nervous upon seeing Mrs. Parker. Her supervisor saw her nervousness and let out a small laugh.

"I'm not gonna bite Ms. Lopez. You don't have to be nervous. We're just waiting for someone before I tell you why I called you here besides we have been working together for almost three years."

She felt relieved but her head was just thinking too much and thinking ahead of what might happen.

The school Administrative staff informed Mrs. Parker that the person they are waiting for arrived.

"Excuse me, boss, Mr. Rivera is here to see you."

"Please send him in."

The door opened and a tall handsome guy around six feet with hazel brown eyes and raven black hair stepped in and sat down parallel to her. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue and white plaid, tucked in button-up shirt, sleeves folded up to his elbows and dark gray pants paired with a dark brown belt and a pair of dark brown oxfords.

"Ms. Lopez, this is Mr. Emilio Joaquin Rivera II. From now on he will be your partner in running the Resource Room."

She was shocked. She didn't know that she would have a partner during the middle of the school year. She was used to do IEPs and Evaluations by herself. Her supervisor introduced her to the guy in front of her.

"Mr. Rivera, this is our Resource Room teacher, Ms. Myracle Kristine Lopez. She will orient you on how to run the resource room, the students daily routines, what you need to know about our students and she will be the one who will assign the students that are going to be under your caseload."

"Nice meeting you Ms. Lopez. I hope to gain knowledge from you."

He extended his hand for a shake. She accepted it and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you too Mr. Rivera."

Their supervisor dismissed them and they went to the Resource Room.
