Throughout the drive Kristine was quiet. EJ didn't even bother to ask what was in her head right now. They went out to dinner and EJ drive her home. They arrived around 8:30 in the evening. When she was about to step out of his car she looked at him.

"Want some coffee or tea?" She offered with a smile.

"Yeah sure." He stepped out of the car and took her stuff and held her on her waist. He took her stuff and placed it on the counter at the kitchen once they were inside the house.

"Ma'am your parents are on the phone and wants to talk to you." Mildred a house worker gave her the phone.

"Hello?"

It was her dad.

"Hey dad. What's up? You wanted to talk to me?"

"Yes my princess. Your mom and I will be staying here in Singapore for 5 days. The branch here needed my help. We will be back before your birthday. I'm sorry princess I know you hate being alone in the house."

"It's fine dad. Where's TJ by the way? He sent me a text message earlier that he's out of the country and would be back on my birthday."

"Your brother had to go to Dubai for a business meeting. He said that the sheik wanted to buy several parcels of land and would want to start an eco-farming site at Midea."

"Oh, that's nice. New jobs for our fellow men here at Midea."

"Yes princess. By the way is EJ with you right now?"

"Ahm... Yes he's here. Wanna talk to him?"

Kristine gave the phone to EJ and mouthed that it was her dad.

"Tito, this is me."

"Ah EJ! Can you do me a favor and stay with my princess while we're gone. Stay at the house. She hates being by herself and left behind with the house workers."

"Ah. Is it okay with Tita, Tito? I mean I'm still a guy."

"Yeah. Your Tita and I talked about this already. We don't mind if you start working on our grandkids now as long as you proceed with your plans that you told me earlier when you called."

"Yes Tito. I intend to execute my plans on her birthday."

"So very well then. Take care of my princess while we're out and start working on my grandkids."

Don Teodoro hang up the phone and left him smiling.

"What's with the smile?" Kristine asked while sipping on her coffee.
