Captured

Chapter 6

Kristine and EJ were having lunch at the mall when a lady came to their table.

"EJ is that you?!" The girl wearing a tight fitted green dress 3 to 4 inches above her knee greeted EJ.

EJ looked at the girl and greeted her back.

"Nadia! Nice to see you here! When did you arrive from London?"

Nadia Murphy. A half Filipino half American international ramp model. She was standing at 5"10, olive skin complexion and naturally brown wavy hair.

"I just came a week ago! How 'bout you? I thought you were in New York."

"A couple of months ago. Eight going nine months. By the way this is my girlfriend Kristine Lopez. Kristine, meet Nadia, Nadia meet Kristine."

The two ladies had a handshake. Kristine perfectly knew that Nadia likes EJ. She can sense it in her body language. Nadia was not even looking at her while they are shaking hands. Nadia's eyes were focused on EJ.

"Well I better get going. Bye EJ! Call me if you have time!"

Nadia said to EJ with a flirtatious tone in her voice. Such happening made Kristine lose her appetite. She didn't want to eat and her mood just changed.

"Babe I don't feel good. Can we go home now?"

He looked at her and put his palm on her forehead.

"You don't have a fever. Why what's wrong? You don't like the food? We can go to another restaurant if you want."

She was touched by his gestures but she really don't feel good after seeing Nadia.

"No. I just really don't feel good."

EJ paid their bill and he held her hand while walking to his car. They were in the car when JM asked her.

"What's wrong babe? Tell me."

She was looking out of the window.

"I don't like Nadia. Who is she anyway?"

Her voice was not mad but she had to let her thoughts out.

"Nadia was one of my pasts."

She stayed silent the whole drive. EJ knew that his girlfriend is jealous. She just don't want to act like a nagging girlfriend.

They arrived at Lopez Mansion. They went up to her room and reclined on her king-sized bed. Her back was on his chest.

He started playing with her loose hair strands.

"I was a notorious player back when I was in New York. I had casual flings, casual one night stands, and casual sex with girls. Nadia was one of them. I never promised anything to them and before we mess around I tell them that I don't like being committed to any of them and they agree. They're throwing themselves to me because they know I'm a Rivera. Nadia wanted more and I told her I don't want more from her. That's how we ended. I stopped fooling around when I came here at Midea. I thought about settling down and have a family of my own but the woman of my dreams didn't come yet. Not until months ago when I started working. I love that woman so much and I promise her I won't hurt her or ever cheat on her because I love her."

He gently cupped Kristine's face and kissed her naturally reddish lips. It was a loving kiss and she responded back the way he wanted. He knows that he is Kristine's first boyfriend. He gently put her down to her bed while still kissing her. He stopped and put his forehead together with hers.
