[Chapter 12] : My Name

"It's getting late and I still haven't finished my work yet!" Ibe stated in frustration. You giggle a bit then went closer to him. "let me help you with that" you said while smiling at him. Ibe then look up at you "oh (y/n)! Thank you.. But it's okay. I don't want to trouble you with my work" he said as he smile at you weakly.

You smiled back at him as you take the paper from his hands "uncle, it's alright. Let me help you with this. You can settle up the photos then rest up okay?" you said sweetly at him. He then nodded and say "thank you (y/n)". You handed him his camera and he takes it. "beside, I am your assistant" you said and wink at him playfully.

A few minutes later, you finished all the work and you realised it's already 4.43 p.m. You stand up from your desk and went towards Ibe. Ibe was cleaning up his camera. "done! I've put it all in your room. You can check on them later" you said happily.

Not a moment after, you saw Eiji walking towards both of you. "oh, Eiji!" you called him then turn around. He smile at you and went closer to you. "have you done your work?" Eiji ask. "yeah, I just did" you said. You noticed he didn't wear his usual clothes at home.

"are you going somewhere?" you ask. Eiji sweated a bit at your question then open his mouth "uh, yeah.." he said nervously then walk closer to Ibe. You just stare at him then something came up your mind.

"I'm going out for a bit" Eiji said. Ibe stopped cleaning his camera for a moment and look up at Eiji. "uh. okay, but be safe" Ibe said worriedly. "I will" Eiji respond then turn around and walk towards the door. His expression was weak and cold.

"what are you hiding Eiji?" you thought to yourself still staring at him. "are you alright (y/n)?" Ibe ask. You quickly turn to look at Ibe. "I'm fine uncle. Thank you for asking.." you said. You then turn to look back at the door and you realised Eiji has gone outside.

You can't help but quickly went to your room and picked up your importance then run towards the door. Ibe saw you running and ask you "(y/n), where are you going?". You put on your shoes then quickly open the door "I'm going out for a while Uncle. Please don't wait for me and have some rest!" you said then quickly run outside.

You tried to search for Eiji and not a moment later, you saw him in a small store. You noticed he has brought something with him. You followed him silently. Eiji then stopped in front of the male restroom and went inside. You look around and waited for him outside.

After a while, you saw him get out from the restroom. Your eyes widened as your jaw dropped slowly. He was wearing some kind of a 'bad boy' style thing on his body. You tried to hold your laugh as you cover your mouth with your hands. You then saw him walking towards the small street.

You followed him again then you realised something. "wait a minute, this is.." you thought to yourself then stopped. "..Chinatown" you thought again as you look around the place. You then shakes your head and look for Eiji. You noticed he has left you far behind then you quickly run towards his direction.

Eiji stopped for a while and you saw him talking to two stangers. They looked annoyed at Eiji then went closer to him. You're about to run to Eiji but you stopped instantly and tried to calm yourself down as you watch him from afar. You then noticed the two strangers have changed their expression and start talked naturally with Eiji. Not a moment after, you saw Eiji start walking again.

You were following him then you sense something from behind. You quickly turn around and start searching for it. You then noticed a strange looking guy was looking at Eiji's direction. You stopped for a while and let the guy passed you.

"who is this guy?" you thought to yourself. You then start following them. Not a moment later, you saw Eiji entered a Chinese Restaurant. You looked at the guy and noticed he entered the same restaurant as Eiji. "huh?" you thought to again. You then went closer towards the restaurant.

You stayed outside as you watch Eiji carefully. You noticed he was talking to someone. You then turn to look at the guy and you noticed he was looking at Eiji's direction.

"you gotta be kidding me.." you thought to yourself again. You saw the guy take his phone out of his pocket and typed something with it. You can't see what he was typing so you decided to wait for him to get out of the restaurant.

You turn to look back at Eiji and saw he is walking towards your direction. You quickly hide behind the open door next to the restaurant. You saw him walking away from the restaurant.

Not a moment after, the guy went out. You waited him to passed you then you quickly take him by his shirt and quickly locked his hand by his back as you forcefully push him down to the ground.

He struggled to free himself as he say "what the fuck are you doing? Let go of me you bitch". You just stare at him coldly "tell me who sent you! what are you trying to do to Eiji or I'll fucking break it" you ask angrily. "What the fuck are you talking about? Let me go!" the guy said.

Suddenly you sense a pair of eyes watching you. You look up at him and you saw someone standing in front of you. It was dark so you can only see his feet. "who's there! Show yourself!" you said. The guy then went closer to the light.

"you know what? you really have balls for doing that to one of Arthur's guys" he said smiling at you. You look up at him and you realised he was someone you've seen before.

"wait a minute, you're -" you about to say then the guy under you cut you off "Shorter!" he said nervously. You looked at him then quickly turn back to Shorter. He was still smiling at you. "it's you! you're the owner of the motorbike Ash borrow from you before" you stated. Shorter sweated a bit at your words then quickly open his mouth "damn it! Don't remind me that! You make me wanna cry thinking about it" he said frustratedly.

Shorter then went closer to you "let me take him from here" he said coldly as he take the guy by his shirt and swing him roughly to the wall. Shorter quickly put a knife on the guy's neck as he say "now, tell me.. how many of them going to be there?". You stare at Shorter silently then the guy quickly open his mouth "I.. I don't know" the guy said then Shorter push the knife closer to the guy's neck. "okay! Okay! One of Golzine's guy are going to be there but I don't know who it is! Arthur just told me to follow the japanese boy! Please Shorter! I'm telling the truth!" the guy said in fear.

"wait what?! But why Eiji you stupid balls?!" you ask angrily. "calm down you" Shorter said then he turn the guy's body around and smack the guy's neck from behind with his arm making him fall to the ground. "at least I have the information I needed" Shorter said then turn around to looked at you and continue ".. And I have a feeling that something bad will happen if we don't hurry" Shorter stated.

Your eyes widened at his statement. Shorter then start walked faster towards Eiji's direction before. You then followed him from behind. "what do they want from us?" you ask. Shorter didn't look at you. "they don't want anything from us. They want something Ash took from them.. " he said seriously then stopped for awhile and continue ".. And these guys, will do anything to take it back.. " Shorter said then turn to look at you "..Even with bloods" Shorter continued.

You sweated at his statement then turn to look down at your feet. "I suggest, you better go home and just let me deal with this alone" Shorter said then you quickly turn to look at him angrily "alone? Alone you say? Do you really wanna die that bad mister? If something happens to Eiji I will gladly cut your fucking body off in pieces then give it to the dogs so they can EAT - THEM!" you said as you walk closer to him

Shorter back off a bit as he sweated intensely. "okay! Okay.. I'll let you go with me! Gosh, you're scarier then I thought" He said nervously. You then look down at your feet once again. "I don't know about gangster but.. I will do anything save Eiji from them" you muttered quietly.

Shorter stare at you silently. Not a moment after, he opened his mouth "you really are somethig, you know that?" he stated. You look up at him "huh?" you said confused.

Shorter smiled at you and opened his mouth once again "what's your name?" he ask. You were surprised at first when he suddenly ask you the question. You then smiled at him as you say,

" (y/n).. my name is (y/n) "
