[Chapter 15] : I Hope

You wake up in the morning with foods next to your bed. You have been crying for days after Griffin passed away. You didn't eat properly and just stayed in your room. Eiji's been visiting you in your room every each hours to make sure you eat your meal and take bath. Ibe even told you that he will bring both of you back to Japan and everytime you think about it, you can't help but remembered your promise with Ash.

"wait for me no matter what happen"

Not a while after, you walk towards the window and look up at the sky. You stayed silent for a moment and just stare9at the sky. "I want to see you again, Ash.." you thought to yourself. Few minutes after, you heard the door behind you slide opened.

"oh (y/n)! You're awake" Eiji said then closed the door behind him. You turn to look at him. "how are you feeling?" Eiji asked while smiling at you. He then turn to look at the food next to your bed. He stayed silent for a moment then open his mouth "you didn't eat your breakfast.." Eiji said weakly then turn to look at you.

"I'll eat them later. I'm just not hungry yet.. " you said quietly. Eiji then went closer to you. "are you still thinking?" Eiji asked while looking at you. You stayed silent for a moment then open your mouth "I feel bad for him, Eiji.. I'm worried something bad might happen to him.. What happen if he knows someone killed his brother without him knowing?.." you said and stopped for a while. " I don't want him to do anything that can harm himself.. " you said again.

Eiji just looked at you trying to think of a way to comfort you. "I'm sorry Eiji.." you said then turn to look at him. "Thank you, for taking care of me this past few days" you said and smile at him weakly. "I'm really sorry for making you and uncle worried.. Please forgive me, for being selfish.." you muttered quietly as you looked down on your feet.

Eiji just stare at you for a moment then open his mouth "I'm so thankful that we get to meet Ash. I've never seen you so happy after meeting him.." Eiji stopped for a while then continue "I want to see you happy again (y/n)! I want to help you so you can be with Ash again" Eiji said. Your eyes widened at his statement. You quickly turn to look at him as he smiled at you.

"thank you Eiji!" you said and smiled at him. Eiji stare at you then put his hands on your shoulders. He turn your body around and push you away from the window "now, why don't you go take a shower and eat your breakfast?" Eiji said making you laughed. You then get yourself off of Eiji's hands and turn around. "okay, okay.. I'm going!" you said. You both of you laugh at each other then Eiji open his mouth once again. "I'll be at the living room with Ibe" Eiji said and you nodded.

After finished showering and eating, you went to the kitchen while bringing the empty plates. You saw Eiji and Ibe talking with each other in the living room as you passed them. Eiji saw you and quickly run towards you happily. "(y/n)! (y/n)! It's Ash! He finally got out of jail!" Eiji stated.

You stopped what you were doing and turn to look at Eiji. Your eyes sparkled. "re.. Really?" you asked quietly. Eiji then nodded and smiled at you "Ibe told me that Captain helped him". You then looked at Ibe "really uncle?" you asked excitedly. Ibe then nodded and went closer to both of you. You then turn to look at Eiji as you both jumped around each other happily.

Suddenly Ibe spoke again. ".. but this is all ends here for us. After we take Ash to the captain, we're heading straight to the airport" Ibe said. You stopped and quickly turn to look at Ibe "wait, what? But uncle, we-" you about to say then Ibe cut you "he'll be safe once the Captain take him (y/n). They will take6care of him" Ibe said. You looked down at your feet and Eiji just stare at you.

"please (y/n).." Ibe said again. You stayed silent for a moment then you open your mouth "yes uncle" you weakly said.

- At The Waiting Room -

Since Jenkins ask one of his men to bail Ash, Charlie, Ibe, Eiji and you went to take him. You didn't say anything after what Ibe told you in the apartment and just silently sit next to Eiji. Eiji just stare at you the whole time. Suddenly the door slide opened. It was Ash.

You and Eiji quickly stand up from your seat and went closer to him. "Ash! I'm so glad you're out!" Eiji said happily. Ash smiled at him and nodded "Thank you for everything Eiji" Ash said then turn to look at you. Your eyes locked at his as you smiled at him.

Ash's eyes widened then he quickly went closer to you. "(y/n)?" Ash called. You were surprised at first but then answer him "y.. ya?" you asked nervously. Ash then put his hand on your cheek then moved his thumb to your lower eyes. "what happened?" Ash asked weakly. His expression was sad. "oh, is it that obvious?" you thought to yourself.

You then smile at him and say "it's nothing Ash, don't worry.. I'm really happy to see you again
.." still smiling at him. Ash just stare at you for a moment then pulled his hand away from you. "yeah.. I'm happy to see you too (y/n).." Ash said and smiled.

"there are a lot of things I needed to ask you.. But first let us all go to the car" Charlie suddenly said. You all nodded and when you're about to walk, Ash take your hand and intertwined his with yours. You jumped a bit then turn to look at him. "let's go!" Ash said smiling at you. You can't help but blush then quickly turn away from him and nodded.

You all went outside where Charlie's parked his car. You were looking down at your feet as you walked next to Ash. You can't help but blush at the fact Ash is holding your hands. "oh my god.. Stop it (y/n), stop it!" you muttered quietly making Ash turn to look at you. "are you okay (y/n)?" you jumped a bit at his question and quickly waves your other hand "no no no!.. I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm perfectly fine!" you said as you laughed nervously.

All of you stay silent for a moment then suddenly Ash opened his mouth "hey Charlie, I've never told you this before, but.. I actually have an older brother" Ash stated. You were shocked at his sudden statement and turn to look at him. "re.. Really? I never knew" Charlie said then look away from Ash.

"he must be worried, so I want to go see him before we go see Captain" Ash said again. You then looked down on your feet once again. Eiji just stare at you with concern. "arghh.. Ash, listen. I.. I can't keep it from you any longer.. " Charlie said in frustration then you all stopped walking.

Ash turn to look at Charlie as he continue ".. I need you to stay calm.. actually your brother he.. He passed away 2 days ago" Charlie said. Ash eyes widened at Charlie's statement. You realised Ash has loosen his hand a bit from you. "what?" Ash ask weakly. Ash then turn to looked down at you "how can this happened?" Ash asked again.

"I'm sorry that this all happened but first, let us all go inside the car.. I'll tell you the detail later okay?" Charlie spoke again. You turn to look at Ash and saw him blankly staring at his feet. You didn't say anything and just take Ash by his back and lead him to the car.

You open the car door and help Ash sit on the front seat. "thank you (y/n).." Ash said still facing away from you "yes Ash.." you said weakly then close the car door. You turn to looked at Eiji. Eiji looked at you with a smile on his face. You smile back at him then looked down on your feet and thought to yourself,
