"So you're telling me, that she's at home?" Boruto asked Sumire.

"It's not exactly a good thing. The village's been invaded by the Otsusuki clan." she said.

"Then we must go and find her" Kawaki replied with determination.

"Hold on, lover boy" Shinki said. "This could be a trap, we must think on how to proceed."

"The more we think about it the less chances she has to survive. It happened once, I'll not let it happen again!"

"Neither do we!" Shikadai yelled. "But right now we need to stick to the plan if we want to get out of this one!"

"Yeah, by searching for a man who knows where in the world is! Kami knows if he's dead, or if he left the village because he doesn't care anymore!"

"Watch your mouth! He may have his ways but he's my father." Sarada said. "Besides he has done way more things that you'll ever dp in your whole life!"

"Yeah, abandoning his family for more than a decade to go on a mission doesn't seem that honorable to me.."

"You don't know him" Sarada snapped coldly, hiding away the hurt in her eyes. "He may have his ways, but he always cared about my family and the village."

"Can't you guys calm down? We aren't going anywhere if we keep fighting like this." Inojin said while rolling his eyes.

"This whole thing makes me get hungry."

"You're always hungry Chocho" Mitsuki replied with a smile.

"Enough" Shinki said. "The one who has the right to decide here is Boruto. Himawari's his sister and she's in trouble, but right now we're basically at war."

"So what are you gonna do, Boruto?" Sarada asked while everyone turned to him. Boruto stood silent for a moment before taking a deep breath. He looked at everyone with watery eyes before speaking.

"We...." he trailed off. "We need to follow Shikadai's plan. We must get Sasuke-sensei before heading to the village."

Everyone stood silent and started moving. Sarada walked through Boruto and gave him a supporting look. She knew he was suffering from making that decision, but also knew it was the best and most reasonable thing to do at the moment.

It didn't took long enough for Boruto to stay alone in the room with Kawaki, who looked at him with deep hate.

"Congratulations" he spat. "You just turned your back on your sister....again"

"You know there is no other choice dattebasa" he replied.

"Yes there is, there will always be a choice. But you made the wrong one."

"Says the one who almost died in the past war."

"You know I'm the one who is willing to do anything for her. If I had to choose between the village and Himawari...I will choose her no matter what." he said before leaving the room.

After a while, the whole group left Suna to find Sasuke. They decided to go first to Orochimaru's Hideout to find more information about where he is. Kawaki watched closely, how the rest of the group meet up with Yamato and a few of his ANBU group and explained the situation.

"That's impossible..." Yamato said. "How could that happen?!?"

"It's okay to not understand" Shikadai said. "In fact we were ambushed, so we need to know where Sasuke-san is."

"I haven't seen him enter the hideout. There's been no unusual activities around here, but I bet Orochimaru knows more." he turned to watch a small boy with brownish hair and blue eyes. "Yuko, guide them to where he is."

"Hai!" he replied. The entire group walked down the cave. "I'm sorry to hear that the vilage's been attacked. If we only stood there when you needed us the most..."

"Team 7 wasn't at home when that happened." Sarada said. "So don't feel bad for not being there. I guess whe should focus more on how to make them pay for what they did."

"I would like to help with the task, Sarada-sama." he replied while earning a warm smile from the Uchiha heiress.

"You're already helping with your actual duty. If we put more weight on your shoulders you will not be able to make it."

"If Sasuke-kun sees you like this the poor life's boy will be gone in half a blink of an eye." Orochimaru said while appearing from the darkness, followed by Karin, Juugo and Suigetsu.
