I went to the Hyuga compound to train. I needed to calm my mind. I couldn't let him win and control me forever so I needed to focus on my strenght.
I spent all the morning training before the twins came. I barely know them at all, and I can't blame them for knowing only the bad things about myself.
"Hey, Aunt Hima!" Hizashi said to grab my attention. Honestly I'm still not used to be called like that. "Why you don't have the Byakugan like everyone else?"
"What do you mean like everyone else?" I asked. "I have the Byakugan."
"But you have blue eyes. Uncle Boruto has blue eyes, but he doesn't have it." he replied.
"That's because he has the Jougan. A new type of eye."
"Oh....but you have something else right?" he asked with curiosity. One that resembled mine when I was younger. "They said you have a special type of power related to the Hyuga clan.
"It's the Tenseigan" his brother Miroku said. "Right aunt Hima?"
I was about to answer but then I noticed another presence. "So you finished your duties. How did it go?"
Shinki looked at me and the twins. "I....I have news."
"Boys, let me have a moment with him." I said, noticing his concerned face.
"But why?!?!?!?" they both said. I gave them a serious look before they nodded and left.
"That's not fair" Hizashi murmured.
"This is ridiculous" Miroku added.
"I can still hear ya' you know!" I yelled while they ran away. I made a small giggle before turning to see him. "You look worried. What is it?"
"I figured out a way to help you with your nightmares." he started. "I believe it's linked to how close and strong your connection with him is. The closer you are, the higher posibilities he has to control you..."
"Understandable." I replied. "So what do I need to do?"
He took a big breath. "Move to Suna with me."
"What?" I said in shock.
"Y-you don't like it?" he said in confusion. "I-I mean, I get it if you don't-"
"No, I mean...yes. It...it feels....It seems like a logical idea to all of this but..." I trailed off processing the idea. Shinki took both of my hands.
"If you don't want to, it's okay. I won't make you do something you don't want to do." he kissed my hands, making me blush. "I just thought that you needed a change of place and start over. You will still continue your training, and your treatment. You will be able to communicate with your family. The only difference is that you will live with me."
I looked at him for a moment. It was a tempting offer.
'But what about my family? My nephews...my mother...'
'Don't go with him. Suna's known for using people with special abilities for their military.'
'Wow, suddenly you want to protect me?'
'I always have, love.'
'I'm not your love'
'You are. You will always be mine no matter what happens.'
"I'll go" I said ignoring the voice. "We have to talk to my family about this."
"Your father already accepted my request." he said before taking a big breath. I frowned my eyes a bit. He seemed as he was hiding something. "We have to tell your brother."
"Why? He never tells anyone about his plans." I crossed my arms. "Why should we tell him everything?"
"Hima..." Shinki warned. "He's your brother. He's the way he is but he is your family no matter what."
"Now he's my family. Not a few years ago when we were at war" I replied before getting a headache. Shinki placed his hand on my cheek with concern.
"What is it?" he asked. "Are you alright?"
"It's fine. Let's just go home." I said.
