Konoha's New Prodigy: The Journey

Shinki and I went to Sunagakure's hospital. It was crowded with many medics and patients who were suffering from the epidemic sickness.

"We only have two big hospitals in the village. They're equiped with the best technology Konoha could give us. However, we didn't expected this would happen right after the war." he explained as we walked through the hallway.

"Have you ever tried to research the cause of the sickness?" I asked.

"The water resources have been contaminated near the borders of the village. That's the latest reports we have from the ANBU unit." He turned around to face me. "You will be of great help if you decide to stay here for a while after the mission."

"I'm not sure about that..." I hesitated while lowering my head. "The villagers may resent me due to the events of the past war. My eyes...."

"Is not your fault. They cannot judge someone for something we can't control." he replied while raising his hand and summoning his iron sand. "Believe me, I've been there..."

I stared at him closely, watching how he summoned his hand with his hand. I remembered the time he fought Sarada and my brother at the Chūnnin Exams. He was so scary by that time...

'But now, he's different.'

"I know what you did during the war" he continued. "I can't blame or judge your actions. Personally, I rooted for you and your will during that time. You impressed everyone with your power." 

And with that he gave me an iron sunflower. I was so shocked by his action that I couldn't help but blush at his words. "T-Thank you...that m-means a-a lot."

He smiled as I took the flower and then turned around to continue showing me the hospital, but guards suddenly came towards him and told us that there's been an attack on one of the East side of the hospital.

"Tell the others, we'll stop them. Let's go!" I said with determination while running away. Shinki followed me. As we went left on a corner we found that many of the nurses and doctors were taken down, some of them with many deep injuries.

Shinki noticed a shadow moving away with the corner of his eyes. "Stay here, heal them all." and left.

After a while, Kawaki and Team 7 arrived.

"Hima! What happened?" Boruto asked with a hurry.

"I'm fine. Shinki went after them." I replied while healing.

"We can't let them escape!" Kawaki said while running in Shinki's direction.

"Kawaki wait!" Boruto said while following him.

"Boruto!" Mitsuki yelled while running after him.

I looked up to Sarada, "We must hurry before those two get into trouble."

"The guards will be here soon" she replied. "Go, I'll stay with them."

I nodded and ran away with my Byakugan activated it. After a while I located them at the top of the building, fighting with a bunch of what it seems to be other rogues ninjas.

Mitsuki and Boruto were fighting side by side with them while Shinki took alone a whole bunch of them with his iron sand. Kawaki also fought against a few of them.

"These clones are stronger than usual!" Kawaki yelled while blocking the enemy's attack.

"They don't seem like ordinary ninjas, even for rogue ones." Mitsuki said while breaking free from the enemy's grip. Suddenly, without noticing, an enemy made a special attack, throwing hundreds of shurikens at them.

'It's too much for them. They won't block them all." I said while suddenly activating my Tenseigan and stepping into battle.

"Kaiten!!" I yelled while protecting everyone from the attack. Everyone stood there watching me with their jaws dropped. "Is everyone okay?!" I asked once I'm finished.

"Himawari!" Kawaki said while stepping between my back and another enemy who was about to attack me. I turned around, ready to block it but Kawaki pushed me away and got the hit himself.

"Kawaki!" I yelled as he fell on the ground, blood getting out from his chest. Then I turned to face the masked clone ninja. "You.."

I made a few steps foward to the criminal who attacked us. I wanted to hit him back so hard he could wish he was already dead instead.

"Himawari!" I heard Shinki yell but it was too late. We had already vanished.
