Weeks passed and everything seemed to be normal. I returned home and the village seems to be getting bigger and better with the reconstructions.

My brother returned to do missions with his team while I stayed home to receive treatment.  My mother takes care of me in case something goes wrong, but fortunately there hasn't been any incident.

I met my two cousins, Hizashi and Miroku. They often visit me to check how I am doing and of course, to know more about me. I feel great whenever I'm near them though, they make me forget all the pain and suffering I've been through all my life. Maybe is because I was once like them. Innocent.

Also, Shinki has been visiting me more often. Whenever he goes back to Suna he always finds a way to write me a letter asking me how I am doing. And when he returns we always find time to have a walk and chat together.

However, sometimes I feel like something is missing.

'I know what that is....You're desire to kill. To follow your true nature...'

'Shut up.'

'You can't deny it. Listen to it. Your power is hungry for blood...'

'I won't hurt anybody. Leave me alone!'

'You fear is because you can't deny it. Come on my dear, it's clear that you want it as bad as I do...'

"I said shut up!" I yelled as I woke up during early morning in my room. I sighed knowing that the voice shut up for a while, however this wasn't the first time I had this mental battle while sleeping.

I decided to go out for a walk. I didn't wanted to bother anyone. I needed time for myself. To think about how longer will I keep up with this. After a while walking around the village I stopped at the gates, looking at what was outside.

'Are you going to deny me this too?'

"What do you mean?" I asked in annoyance.

'Don't act like a fool my dear' he replied. 'You are a warrior, a powerful shinobi. You've always wanted freedom. Isn't that why you ran away from home the first time?'

I turned around while putting my hands on my head. "It wasn't like that."

"Hima?" said a voice from behind me, making me turn around in a defensive mode. "What are you doing here all alone?"

I blinked a few times. "Sh-Shinki..."

"Are you alright?" he asked in concern while approaching me. "Why are you up this early?"

"You're making too many questions." I replied while crossing my arms.

"Hima..." he insisted, noticing my sudden change of attitude. "You can lie to anyone in this village, but not to me. It was that voice again right?"

"....Yes..." I admitted. "They're more frequent now. And sometimes I think, they might've tell me the truth."

Shinki stood silent for a while. I knew he was concerned. He always frowns his nose a little when he's like that. However he barely shows his emotions to anyone.

"Return home" he said. "I'll visit you in a while."

"Why?" I asked.

"I've got an idea.....Trust me."

"I can't believe he's come all this way without saying nothing but nonesense." Konohamaru said while reading some papers about Toneri.

"It's like he wants to be tortured by us." Shikamaru said. "He just laughs at every session."

Naruto sighed. He knew Toneri represented danger for Hima. But all this time he had him captured he hadn't had any success in gathering any useful information from him.

Suddenly, a knock came over the door.

"Come in" Shikamaru said.

"Shinki" Naruto said in surprise. "What are you doing this early dattebayo?"

"The meeting regarding Suna's recovery from the crisis isn't up yet" Konohamaru said.

"I understand, Lord Eight. But I'm not here for that." he turned to Naruto. "Is about your daughter, Lord Seventh."

The Uzumaki listened to the boy.

"I saw her this morning at the gates of the village. She told me she's been hearing the voices in her head again and couldn't sleep. She also confessed she might be agreeing to what they say." he explained.

"Did she told you what the voice was telling her?" Naruto asked with interest.

"No. But I think I can come to a possible solution to distract her mind."

"And that is?"

"I want to take her to live at Suna for a while" he said with nervousness.
