I woke up due to an alarm next to my head. I had had a sleepover with Amy to help her prepare for her wedding. I quickly brushed my teeth and did my hair and make up before walking to Amy's door.

When she gave me the all clear I entered and saw faces that weren't familiar to me.

They smiled at me, "Hello Iris, dear. How are you this lovely day?"

I smiled back, "Amazing Mr. and Mrs. Pond. Happy to finally get this crazy bride to her loving fiance." Apparently, I did know who they are. But, something was missing. Someone.

I felt an immense loss, like my home was destroyed. I pull a watch from my pocket, don't know where it came from, but I always have it. For as long as I can remember.

Amy's parents leave the room and I walk over to do her hair, "You feel like something is missing?"

She nodded, "Yeah, I was just gonna call Rory to make sure we had everything."

"Go ahead, I have to get something before I start." I leave her and walk to the bathroom. I didn't really need to get anything, I just felt a burning in my pocket.

I pulled out the source, the watch, and heard it whisper, "Remember. You must remember, once you remember, you must open. You must Remember."

Remember, remember. I remember trees, a burnt orange sky. I remember the glass dome. I remember the war, and my dying friend. I remember the Doctor. My Bow-tie.

Before I open the watch Amy called out for me, "Iris! Can you help me real quick?"

I walk out with a can of hair spray, "Yeah."

After I did her hair, I went to get dressed. I was the Maid of Honor, so I had to wear the dress Amy picked out for me.

The ceremony was beautiful. When we got to the reception, things got a little chaotic.

"Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, the father of the bride, Augustus Pond!" The Master of Ceremonies introduced.

Mr. Pond stood up, "Sorry, everyone. I'll be another two minutes. I'm just reviewing certain aspects." Then sat back down.

I look at the window, a little bored, and saw River. Amy did, too.

"Amy? You okay?" Rory noticed.

Besides the tear down her face she stated that she was fine.

"Right. Er, you're crying." I wanted to smack him. You don't point out that a bride is crying.

"So I am." She wiped under eyes gentle, "Why am I doing that?"

"Because you're happy, probably." Rory smiled and pointed at her playfully, "Happy Mrs. Rory. Happy, happy, happy."

"No, I'm sad. I'm really, really sad." I want to hug her, but that would only draw attention to her. She is going through the grief of losing her best friend on her wedding day.

I zone out for a minute, I lost the man I love so many times. When I get my memories back, will it hit me like a train. I don't want to go, I want to stay as me. What if I become a dick?

Mr. Pond gets back up, "Ready now. Sorry about that. Last minute adjustments to certain aspects. Now then, it hardly seems a year since Amelia was my little girl. At the age of six and announced that the new head teacher wasn't real because she looked like a cartoon."

"Shut up, Dad!" Amy stood up rapidly.

Rory and Mr. Pond were startled, "Amelia?"

"Sorry, but shut up, please. There's someone missing. Someone important. Someone so, so important." She remembered.
