"And then we discovered it wasn't the Robot King after all, it was the real one. Fortunately, I was able to re-attach the head." Bow-Tie's story left Rory looking on with disbelieving eyes.
"Do you believe any of this stuff?"
"I was there." Amy and I said in unison, I didn't like the whole decapitation thing.
Amy and Rory were off in their own little world while the Tardis' warning lights were going off. " Oh, it's the warning lights. I'm getting rid of those. They never stop."
"Don't be an Idiot, those are the whole reason we met in the first place." I scolded.
He shrugged, "Who's to say that's one of the reasons I don't like them?"
I slap the back of his head playfully, resulting in an ow from him.
A knock at the door drew away everyone'a attention, "What was that?"
Then a second one, "The Door. It knocked."
"Right. We are in deep space." Second time he is left confused in the past 2 minutes, almost a record.
"Very, Very deep." Two more patterned knocks follow after one another, "And somebody's knocking."
When the Doctor opened the door, two glowing boxes where floating there, "Oh, come here. Come here, you scrumptious little beauties."
I stayed back at the controls, untrusting, when they both zoomed in. One crashed into me the other circled back to the Doctor.
"A box?" And we set a new record!
"Doctor, what is it?" Amy stated at the same time.
I looked to my own box and saw Linear Gallifreian for "The Reaper" I remember him from my world, and he was a great dude despite his name.
Bow-Tie's history lesson, "There's a living time lord out there, and he's one of the good ones!"
"Two." I corrected.
"Right, but you said that there weren't any other Time Lord left. Iris said the same when she finally explained her story-" I zoned out, wanting to focus on the message.
"Help me, just help me." Along with some strange coordinate's were all I got. It left me confused, and even more untrusting.
The Tardis then threw us around as Bow-Tie followed the coordinates, to the edge of the universe.
The minute we got there, I felt overwhelmingly sick. I felt mad. Lost. Scared. A rush of emotions that weren't mine flooded my mind for the first time since the Daleks in the war cabinet and the Angels.
The Tardis was gone, I felt her soul leaving. And it crushed me.
I ran to the main 'engine room' and felt to see if I could find her, I couldn't. In my heart I felt as if I was dying. Not the Tardis, me. I quickly ran out of the Tardis to see if I could find her, I couldn't loose her. I wouldn't loose her again.
I ran outside of the Tardis and tried to follow the emotion, but it was all skewed. Coming from everywhere and nowhere and sideways. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Luckily I was caught by Bow-tie who had followed me out.
"Are you alright?" I went to nod at his question, but I only felt dizzy again.
Someone else was talking but I couldn't make it out.
"He was in a bind. A bit of a pickle. Sort of distressed." I'm sort of distressed.
The Doctor leaned me on the Tardis side and fiddled with stuff and talked more to people. Are Amy and Rory out here too?
Then, out of no where, an odd woman came up and poked my nose, "And that's my Sweetheart!" I could feel the soul, I could feel the Tardis and part of me felt better.
"Poor Sweetheart, she's ill." She bopped my nose again and I felt completely in control again. "That's better."
The Doctor, however confused and angered, didn't understand the bombardment and the fact that I was 'assaulted' by a stranger, "Why am I a thief? What have I stolen?"
Um, my alien tech, the Tardis, my heart. The list goes on.
"Me." Quite proud of that are you Tardis? "You're going to steal me. No, you have stolen me. You are stealing me. Oh tenses are difficult, aren't they?"
"Oh. Oh, we are sorry, my dove." The woman talking was quite mismatched, "She's off her head. They call me Auntie."
The male too, "And I'm Uncle. I'm everybody's Uncle. Just keep back from this one." Gesturing to Tarid, " She bites!"
"Do I? Excellent." When she bite the Doctor's ear everyone started panicing. Except me, I started laughing. Imbeciles.
Stop it.
When they finally pulled her of she smiled, "Biting's excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner."
"So sorry. She's doolally." OI, be nice to Tardis.
"No, I'm not doolally. I'm," She must be struggling again, "I'm. It's on the tip of my tongue. I've just had a new idea about kissing. Come here, you." She chased after the Doctor, and I was confused.
"No, Idris, no." Auntie scolded, causing 'Idris' to stop chasing Bow-tie.
"Oh, but now you're angry. No, you're not. You will be angry. The little boxes will make you angry." she then turned to me, "And you'll be in trouble. Bad, dangerous trouble again."
There was a thick atmosphere surrounding me at that. But the Doctor wasn't stuck like I was, "Sorry? The little what? Boxes?
"Oh, ho, no. Your chin is hilarious." After laughing at Bow-tie she looked to Rory, "It means the smell of dust after rain."
Boy, here attention span lasts less then the Doctors.
Rory was caught of guard, "What does?"
"Petrichor."
"But I didn't ask." I was getting dizzy from the back and forth and twists.
"Not yet. But you will." If you last that long.
Stop.
"No, no, Idris. I think you should have a rest."
"Rest. Yes, yes. Good idea. I'll just see if there's an off switch." As she collapes, I catch her quickly and set her down softly.
"Is that it? She dead now." No remorse, what is going on inside their head? "So sad."
"No, she's still breathing." I could see her chest move ever so slightly.
Uncle's face twisted, "Nephew, take Idris somewhere she can not bite people."
"Oh, hello!" You won't be able to save this one either.
Stop!
"Doctor, what is that?"
"Oh, no, it's all right. It's an Ood. Oods are good. Love an Ood." He got closer to the Ood, "Hello, Ood. Can't you talk? Oh, I see. It's damaged. May I? It might just be on the wrong frequency."
When he switched it, a different signal came in. Too many voices!
"If you are receiving this message, please help me. Send a signal to the High Council of the Time Lords on Gallifrey. Tell them that I am still alive. I don't know where I am. I'm on some rock-like planet." There were so many, my eyes were swimming in tears, and anger, and fear. I started hitting my head, anything to get the voices out.
Rory grabbed my hand and set them to my side, "What's that? Was that him?"
"No, no. It's picking up something else." His eyes upon me full of pity as I shook my head rapidly, Rory stilled that too, "But that's, that's not possible. That's, that's. Who else is here? Tell me. Show me. Show me."
"Just what you see. Just the four of us, and the House. Nephew, will you take Idris somewhere safe where she can't hurt nobody? And take her somewhere to calm down." Nephew guided me through the planet with Tardis in his arms.
I didn't like it one bit.
