I rolled into the fetal position, "I can't take it!"

Theta came over to the wall seperating us and comforted me, "I'm so sorry."

I just kept crying, they had hurt me, they hurt him, "They had no right, they had no right to drag you into this!" Anger was raising in my chest.

But he was still there with me, "I wouldn't let you go through this alone. I could never do that to you."

"I dragged you down. I soiled your name, I made you a freak!" I looked up to him, tear stained face, "I'm sorry."

He hushed me, "You didn't do anything, it's all on them."

*The Incident*

With a blink of my new gold and green eyes, I was in front of the council.

"Master," they used my made-up name... This was a good sign, "Explain to us the circumstance of your regeneration."

"The Doctor and I, we were travelling as normal. A story of an ongoing war reached our ears and we decided to go and... Supervise over it." I was careful on how I phrased my words.

"When we landed, the planet was in mayhem, dying even, so we decided to interfere-"

The President cut me off,"You interfered in planet affairs! We, the Time Lords, only watch. We only witness the events-"

"And that is a bullshit move! If people are dying, why is it wrong to help them!"

"Because-"

"Just fucking listen to me." My voice was eerily calm, yet everyone in the room flinched. "The planet was dying. The people were suffering, their screams heard through out all of space. We had to do something."

"We? You mean, The Doctor interfered once again." Oh, no. "You mean to tell me that even after we specifically told him to do that, he went against us?"

"No! I made him come with me," I couldnt let him get in trouble again, "I was sick of being the bad guy, I only wanted to help."

For once, I didnt want to be a burden.

Look where that got me.

The President glared, "Your job isnt to be the hero. You are the mistake, the burden. You are no Master, and you shall never be one."

I didn't hear anything else he said, I was shattered. I was a burden, a mistake. An experiment gone wrong. The only thing that pulled me from these thoughts was this phrase, "Take the Doctor and his disgrace to the cells. And burn the Tardis, too much trouble that one."

This cause me to riot, "NO! Leave the Tardis out of it, leave the Doctor alone! This was all my doing, all my fault. Don't cause suffering to your hero and his ship, please." The please came of broken, as was the table I flipped and the chair that I threw at their heads. Trying to draw attention away from the Doctor's punishment. The Tardis' treatment.

"Make sure he is there when the Tardis is burned." And he walked away.

The guards dragged my body through the corridors. Until we reached the room in which the deed would be done.

I watched as the Tardis burned, I felt it myself. As the Tardis screamed, so did I. If I hadn't regenerated so soon before, I would've now.

"I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry sweetheart." They will pay for this.

The dragged me down to an isolated cell, the Doctor in the next room over.

I'm so sorry, Sweetheart.

I'm so sorry, Doctor.
