chapter 2

Gabby's pov

I woke up still in shock from last night. That dream was horrible. No let me rephase that. That Nightmare was horrible. But I'm still interested in what that meant. I finally got the courage to get out of bed and get ready for school. I walked towards my wardrobe and picked out my outfit. I picked out a black tank top, a red flanale around my waist, navi-blue skinny jeans folded, and a pair of red Converse. After that I straightened my long brown hair.

I then ran downstairs to see my mother making breakfast, my brother devouring the food, and my father reading the inews. I grab a piece of toast while picking up my backpack heading out the door. Before I can walk out I hear my mom call my name. "Gabby" I hear again. I turn to see my mom reaching out her arms to give me a hug before I leave for school. I signed and ran up to her to give her a quick hug. "Are you forgetting your older bro" I turn to see my brother Marcus holding out his arms gesturing me to hug him. I ran up to him. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and ran back towards the door before I get called back. Before I can step outside I hear my name being called out again. So I turned to my mother once more. "Hey are you ok?" she asked with care in her voice. "I'm fine, promise" I say to reassure her. My father spoke up after "Gabriella I'm just letting you know that I won't be here tonight once again make sure your brother won't do anything stupid." I hear my brother in the background babbling at him. I turn my head once towards them "How irronic same task as last night. At least he was there to support me. So where were you when I need you most." I said in a mocking voice while slamming the door shut.

As I ran I toke out a hover board and jumped on it. I rode it the whole way to school. By the time I got to school I heard the bell ring. "Crap I'm late!" I jumped off and ran through the doors running towards my locker. As opened the locker by scanning my hand on the fingerprint pad. I through in the ones I didn't need and toke out the ones I needed. I then shut my locker and ran towards my first class. On the way there I wasn't paying any attention on what was ahead and ran into something. Something deffenetly someone. "Hey watch where your going!" As i said looking up holding my head and immediately I link eyes with it. I mean him. He had green eyes with hazel around his pupil. "Oh I'm terrirbly sorry I didn't mean to get in your way." He said with worry in his voice. "No, no it's alright. It was my fault for not watching where I ran into." I say not trying to feel bad. I look at him again. He doesn't look like he's around here. There was silence for a couple minutes until he broke it. "I'm Toby Arker pleasure to meet you." he said with a smile. "I'm Gabriella Blackbird and the pleasure is all mine." I respond with a smile. He continued to break the silence. " I'm new to the school." "Ya I can tell." I said with a sight smile. I continued " so where are you headed?" Toby replied "Oh I'm just headed to piano but I kinda got lost. This place is a maze." I respond "Well fortunate for you I'm headed towards piano. You can follow me, if you want." "sure" he says with joy.

"Oh I think u might want these."he said gesturing towards my notebooks. "oh right" I respond. I bend down to pick them up from the floor but he beats me to it. "Here." he said in a soft voice. "Thanks, I was to destracted by your eyes I forgot about my books." I said out loud. "Crap did I just say that out loud! I'm probably blushing like crazy right now!" He chuckled and broke me out of my thoughts. " Well thank you but we should get going. Don't want to be even more late. Come on, school now flirt later." he then starts walking away. I was so humiliated I almost cried or punched him in the face but didn't .Thank God. Toby yelled out "Come along we don't have all day!" I turn and punch him in the arm and started to walk towards the music room as he walked behind me holding on to his arm. Sure he was a jerk but something about him interested me.
