chapter 15

Gabbys pov

That night I stayed by Toby. I started to shiver of how cold the room was. I stood up to close the open window. I went down the halls of the motel to get something to drink. I walked into the loby and noticed Marcus was up staring outside. So I walked over to him and rested my head on hi shoulder. "Hey sis." He said looking over to me. "Why are you standing out here its freezing." I Say shivering again. "I'm just keepin watch for any walking tin cans." He says. I snicker at his descripion. "Hey Marc?" He looks over. I get off his arm. "Where has mom been." I ask curriously. He ignores me and walks inside. There was a knot in my stomach but I ignored it. "Mracus where's mom." I said it again but roughness in my tone. I turned his gaze back towards me but with tears in his eyes. I gulped, "Marcus where is mom!" I said yelling it this time. He still stayed silent. I could hear doors opening and closing from behind him. "Marcus where is my mother where is she!" I yelled tears streaming down my eyes. I could here rushing footsteps coming towards us. I decided to say it again. "Marcus where the hell is my mothe-" "She's my mother too!" I was cut off with with Marcus yelling and a stinging  sensation in my cheek I fell to the ground fitting it roughly. I felt my cheek it stung so much but I held in a scream. I looked up and saw Marcus standing there in shock and then Toby pushing him away to get to me. "Gabby are you ok!" I nodded and looked down making my bangs cover my eyes so they wouldnt see me sobbing. Hot Tears were streaming down my face. Marcus tried helping me up but I snapped at him,  "Don't touch me!" I slapped his hand away. "Gabby im-" I cut him off, "No no just don't talk to me." I stood up. "Just leave me alone for awhile." I said walking away. Toby walked behind me and I left Marcus standing there. "Gabby wait" I turned to Toby. "Toby please just leave me alone for a bit just please." I walked to a room and locked myself in there. I wasn't planing to come out any time soon. I put my knees up to my chest and sobbed.

A couple mins before said incident

Tobys pov

I woke up with a pain going down my. I sat up and winced in pain. I looked over to the empty chair. "She must have gotten some water." I said stretching and yawning. I sluggishly stood up and started walking towards the door. As I was about to turn the door knob I heard yelling. "Marcus were is mom!" I knew that voice perfectly. It was Gabby. I ran out of the room. As I got to the lobby I saw Gabby and Marcus. "Where the hell is my mothe-" "she's my mother too!" Marcus slapped her. I stood there wide eyed. Gabby fell to the floor. I rushed to her aid. I pushed Marcus out of my way and nelt down with Gabby. As I nelt down another sharp pain went down my back. I would have screamed but I had to help Gabby more. "Gabby are you ok?!" She looked down. Her long brown hair covering her blue eyes. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. Marcus tried to help her up but she hissed at him, "don't touch me!" She also yanked her arm from my hand. I looked at her shocked. She kept looking at the floor. "Gabby im-" she cut him off. "No! no just don't talk to me." She stood up. "Just leave me alone for awhile." She walked away still looking at the floor. I chased after her. "Gabby wait." She turned around not making any eye contact with me. "Toby just leave me alone for a bit just please." She walked in a room and stayed there. I turned back to Marcus he's still just standing there. I decided not to go over there. I felt it was a bad time. I'm going to give them some time to sort this out. I walked to my room and sat on the bed. I leaned down trying to go to sleep. But I was difficult knowing Gabby got hurt, physicaly and emotionaly. I want to confort her. I want to be a shoulder that she cry on when she's sad. I want to be her warmth when she's cold. I want to cuddle her when she's lonely. I want to be there for her always, because I love her.
