My eyes widen in shock and I hurriedly scrutinize the area, at least there's nobody within hearing range. "W-what?" I stutter, my forehead starting to sweat.
"What's wrong Ace? Child got your tongue?" Faith says directly to the camera suddenly reminding me that I'm still taping. I gasp and end the video, rushing to click on delete.
"Daddy?" I chuckle nervously "Good one. You really got me there." I say and wipe the sweat off my forehead with the back of my palm. She smirks and proceeds to bringing her phone out.
She taps on the screen for a few seconds before handing it over to me. The phone flashes a bright red before a message appears on the screen.
"This video you're about to watch contains Juicy secrets and a very, very low video quality, you might want to plug your ear buds, don't say I didn't warn y'all!!! Don't panic if you don't have ear buds, there's a subtitle!"
The next scene is Faith holding the phone and taping herself.
"Okay people welcome back to the weird series where your hall monitor, yeah that's right I said it... I'm going to be your future hall monitor, you dumbasses, when I take Ace card down. The weird series where your hall monitor doesn't just monitor the hall, she monitors the deepest, darkest secrets. The juicy ones that no one saw coming."
The next scene reveals Eileen and I talking in the kitchen. I gasp when I remember when that was. Everything starts making sense, the thud, the binoculars?! It was all Faith, that sneaky snake. She even added subtitles!
The scene after that is back to her in my bedroom only this time, she's not taping herself, it's my bedroom. She does the voice-over.
"Just like many of you had suspected, Ace Winter has oh my God the craziest best room ever. I mean, duh. Let's check out his closet, what if hides more than clothes in there? What if he hides a child in there? Well we are just about to find out."
For the state I'm in, I'm sure I would have burst into laughter but laughing is not on the list of things going on in my mind, my secret is out. My big, lifetime secret is out! And it's someone as loose as Faith that knows my secret. I don't bother watching the rest of the video.
Without stopping to think, I fall to my knees and hold her feet, "Faith I swear on mine and Eileen's life, I would do anything you ask of me. Please! Please Faith, please. Hall monitoring? I'll get you to do it. Anything!" I stop talking so I can turn to look at her. A happy smirk is glowing on her face and I fight the urge to curse at her.
"Anything?" she raises a brow and I nod as fast as I can.
"Okay." She shrugs and starts to hop away. What?
"Wait Faith!" l run after her and grab her wrist.
"Okay first things first, stop sneaking up on me and stop grabbing my wrist." She snaps and pulls her wrist free.
"I'm sorry." I apologize quickly. "Faith please this is big, I would literally die if this got out. You have to promise me that you'll keep this to yourself."
She knits her eyebrows," Whoa, this seems to be really serious."
"It is serious!" I snap and then bring my voice down,"I'm sorry."
"Hmm,let's see. If you don't do anything I ask of you till we graduate, trust me,you'll definitely see this video on CNN too.
I gulp and nod, "I promise to do whatever you ask."
"Fine then. I promise to keep this to myself until you break your promise." She smiles wickedly.
"Does anybody else know yet?" I frown.
"Yeah just Alex but don't worry about him, he won't tell a fly." She winks and continues to hop away.
I scoff to myself. That's what she thinks. No problem then, he won't tell anyone. I'll just make sure he's sure he won't tell even a bacteria. I smirk.

"Why do you keep running out of me everytime we see?" Summer queries as Emily, Sam, Dave, Justin and I walk to our second class the next day."Something just always comes up when you're around." I offer her an apologetic smile. "Anyways, how's the female football team going?"
"First practice is today after school." She beams.
"There's a female football team? Since when?!" Dave asks in surprise.
"Recently." Emily answers, "The new sports master is some kind of feminist and she believes the females have a right to join the team and not 'waste their time,Cheering on the field unnecessarily'." She adds with air quotes.
"Yeah just a few have joined. Mostly the freshers trying to lay the foundation of them being popular in the future. Some school y'all have here." Summer tells us.
"That's cool." Justin nods.
"Hey!" A voice calls behind us. I freeze and wince as I recognize it belonging to Faith. My heart starts to pound fast and I fear it might escape my rib cage if I'm not careful.
She's waving at us and heading over.
"Oh Geez." Emily rolls her eyes.
"Ace!" She calls even louder, with a smirk.
"Hmm?" I answer, my voice coming out in a whimper. I clear my throat and force a smile. "Hey, what's up?"
She adjusts her glasses with her index finger. "Nothing much, I just got bored walking to class and I came over hoping you'd carry me there." She smiles innocently.
"what?!" Emily frowns, "Okay just because we let you talk to us,that doesn't mean you can walk with us. You're really not in our friendship category and -"
"Emily it's okay." I gulp and go on one knee. "If she wants to go to class on my back, then it's fine. Faith, hop on."
"Yay!" She beams and hops on to my back. I stand to my feet and put both hands under each one of her laps to help support her weight and maintain her balance.
She wraps both arms around my neck and yells, "Giddy up!" I flinch and sigh, this is probably how I'm going to spend the rest of my high school life. Living as a horse.
I ignore the shocked look on my friends' face and just keep walking.
