I can't believe it's Friday already. Five days of knowing that horrible Faith, okay, she's okay too but then she's terrible!

I'm heading for the locker room. It didn't take much to convince principal Heather to return Faith's hall monitoring job and I finally got the basketball team form.

I make a turn to the left and I notice a  guy has a student pinned to the wall,he has her hands raised. Sheesh,he's not going to kiss her in public, is he?

Ugh,hormonal teenagers. It takes me a while to notice the other brunette standing with her hands crossed across her chest behind him. On setting closer, I notice she has a smirk on.

"You think you can hurt my girl and get away with it?" The guy bellows and I recognize the voice immediately belonging to Dave. What?

The brunette flips her hair over her shoulders and I sigh when I see it's Nancy. What new drama is she creating now?

"You don't scare me!" Their victim chuckles and spits at Dave. Oh my God. Faith.

"I'm a guy so I won't hit you." Dave says, still holding her hands up. "Nancy,do your thing."

Without hesitating, Nancy raises her hand and hits Faith hard across the face. Faith let out a pain filled shriek. I gasp and throw my schoolbag to the floor.

She raises her hand to hit her a second time but I stop it when it's halfway midair. Her eyes widen in shock,"Ace! "

I push her back and look at Dave,he quickly release his grip of Faith's hands and raises his hands in defeat. I grab a fistful of his shirt and Nancy shrieks and starts to tug on my shirt, trying hard to pull me away from her boyfriend.

Faith looks at me and I see fear flash in her eye before she gulps noticeably and scurries out of the scene. I push Dave and Nancy away from in anger and run after Faith.

"Faith!" I call as she speed walks out of the hall. She doesn't me but of course it's Faith, what can I expect?

I grab her wrist and turn her around forcefully.

"I told you not to ever pull me by my wrist!" She snaps and pulls her wrist out of my grip.

"You didn't leave me with much of a choice." I snap back but then my anger softens when I notice the tears in her eyes.

"Are you crying?" I gasp and she quickly wipes the tears with the back of her palms.

"Well duh, what do you expect from me? I'm still a teenage high school girl no matter how tough I appear or seem." she smirks and then chuckles as she lifts her hands to show off her "muscles".

I shake my head and laugh. Only a girl like Faith would cry and still make a joke out of it.

"What happened exactly?" I ask her in an unsure tone. It's been five days, but I think I know her well enough to know that she somehow always manages to get in trouble.

"Aren't they your friends? You ask them!" she frowns and turns to leave. I reach for her shoulder but she shrugs my hand off.

"They did this because they don't want me in your stupid group of royal friends." she says as she walks out on me and pauses. "You guys are pretty dumb, stupid and immature. At least, y'all majority should be eighteen  which automatically makes you adults.

How can you still be selective about friends?"

She shakes her head and finally hops out of sight. I stand there speechless. I start to head back to the locker room, Dave and Nancy do have a lot to explain.

"Ace!" A familiar voice calls and I smile when I see Summer. I stop walking and she runs to be by my side. I eye her up and down. She has her hair pulled up in a ponytail. A pink headband is wrapped around her forehead and matching pink tapes are taped  on her wrists.

Her crop top is a pink tank top, revealing her toned belly and matching pink tights cling tightly to her skin. She matches it all with white sneakers.

"Whoa." is all I can say after my thorough inspection. She blushes a bit and tries to hide her shy smile.

"I didn't know you had abs." I voice my thoughts.

She shrugs, "I work out a lot." she tells and me and we both start walking.

"you should get the other girls to do the same." I laugh and she joins me.

"You like it?" she raises an eyebrow and I grin at her.

"yeah a lot." I answer her truthfully.

"Are you okay?" she asks after a minute of awkward silence. I nod uncomfortably.

"Sure?" she pushes and I finally sigh in defeat.

"Not really.Dave and Nancy literally assaulted Faith in the locker room." I answer, the memory being re-ignited makes me want to punch a wall.

"Faith? Isn't she the one giving you a hard time?" she raises a brow.

"She's not... "

"We know you don't like her." she shrugs, "but the problem is why you keep pretending to like her, I mean, you literally carried her on your back to class!"

"How'd you know about that?"

She rolls her eyes, "You're Ace Winter... Word goes around."

"I see."

"Well Ace I can't help but think she has something against you that's making you oblige and succumb to her charms." she tells me in a low voice and I clench my fists in anger.

"No she doesn't!" I snap and she flinches in fear. I sigh and bring my voice down,"I'm sorry okay?"

She smiles weakly and nods.

"And I don't 'not like her'. She's actually pretty cool." I tell her as we arrive at the locker room.
