Last chapter, I wanna cry :'(
Faith's POV
Two weeks might seem small but trust me,there are a lot of things you can learn in two weeks. Things like, you cannot fall in love with a guy you practically just met in two weeks, trust me, it's never possible.
Two ,you can meet an amazing guy with a daughter and learn as much as you can from them.
Three, you can blackmail the dude and get free rides to class and stuff.
Four, you can lose your hall monitoring job and get it back in a week.
Five, you can pull the biggest prank ever on a gullible witch and get away with it.
The list goes on.
Maybe Ace and I only developed feelings of being really good friends and just thought it was something else because we've never had an experience like that. I don't know about in the future but for now, we will remain the best of friends that we can be.
"Hey no opening your mouth when you're not talking ,in the hallway!" I snap at a chubby fresher and paste a tape on his chest. He scurries out of my sight, leaving me to chuckle to myself.
My ringing phone brings me out of my victory of being scary and I groan at the caller display,Hunter. What does he want now?
"Sup dude?" I call, scanning the hallway for a prey that's about to meet their worst nightmare.
"Nothing much really. Ace wants us to have dinner at his place tonight. And I just called to tell you." He says.
"Are the rest of your fancy squad going to be there?" I ask him, referring to Chancy,Emily and Sam. I know Emily and Sam haven't really done anything but the fact that they're friends with Pantsy, makes me hold a feeling of disgust towards them.
"Oh no, just Summer." He answers and I shrug an okay before hanging up.
Y'all wondering about Fiona? She left for Paris yesterday. Just a few months left to college and trust me, these last days in highschool are going to be worth the wait.
* * *
"Wait!" I snap as the boys and Summer start to dig into their food. They all stare back at me with hungry, anticipating eyes.
"It's good to pray before you eat, you know ,to check for poison and stuff." I tell them all, laughing at their disagreeing groans.
"Well take the lead." Ace scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Father dear lord, we thank you for the good meal put before us cooked by Jackson, who is oh my God, somehow an amazing cook. Geez really Jack, how did you learn to cook? All my days on earth, I've never rolled a spoon in a cooking pot... "
"Faith focus!" Justin snaps, followed by disapproving growls from his stomach.
"Right, sorry." I chuckle nervously, "Father dear lord, we pray that no poison whatsoever is put in this meal because you know we can't trust that Lancey, she hates me really so I don't know if she wants me dead... "
Ten minutes later.
"...and soccer balls and maybe even a baseball bat . In the good Lord's name have we prayed, we hope that our prayers are heard and answered." I conclude my prayer, expecting the rest of them to chorus an Amen after me but I get nothing.
Frowning, I snap my eyes open and,"Guys, how could you eat all of the food?!"
"What? Your prayer was going too long than should be normal, and we started eating at the part where you started your self argument that Ronaldo is better than Messi and vice versa." Ace says with his mouth stuffed full with chicken.
"Don't worry. There is still food left for you." Eileen laughs and pushes a plate towards me.
Just as I'm about to make another comment, the doorbell goes off and Ace sighs before offering to get it.
"Guys!" he yells from the door. Each of us on the table share confused looks before racing to the door to see the origin of his yells.
Our eyes go wide at the display of an old cardboard box in front of the door and the content in it, a human baby!
"Guys do you know what this means?" Justin gasps. "Ace just got a baby number two."
"Are we keeping it or finding out how it got here?" Summer asks in delight.
"Of course it's certainly the latter!" I exclaim.
She chuckles ,"Shut up bitch."
"What's a bitch?" Eileen asks with a frown.
Ace and Summer look between themselves awkwardly before saying at the same time, "A female dog."
"Oh." Eileen blurts.
The end.
Kinda.
I'm thinking of a sequel, 'Baby number two' but it's not been decided yet.Anyways to everyone who read this book. I'm grateful. Don't hesitate to check the other books on my profile out. I love you all, I really do, even to all my ghost readers.
