"Okay this is weird." Ace says as we finally manage to keep our mouths closed. He stares blankly at me and finally chuckles, "Oops, seems like Faith is gonna be sharing my video with the world now.. Oh wait, that's right, she doesn't have it anymore."
My eyes are widen in shock, I frown and dip my hand in the toilet and he scrunches his face up in disgust. I bring my hand out and shove my fingers into his mouth. He starts to scream like a girl and I stand up and start to head out the door.
"What on earth was that for, are you insane?" he yells behind me and I choose to ignore him. I head downstairs and sit on the dining chair that I'd fallen off whilst sleeping. I fold my hands across my chest and pout.
"What's with the attitude? Because you lost your video of me?" he smirks and I almost laugh. Does he really think that's the only video of him that I have? Do I really look that dumb?
"Look Ace, I want to go to bed. Please leave me alone in peace? Soph's mom will be here in three hours and I would like to have had enough rest before then, okay?" I say, feigning the sadness in my voice.
He seems to buy it as I catch a glimpse of guilt wash over his features. I lean down to hide my smile and pretend to want to sleep.
"Good night." I sniff.
He doesn't say anything as he just heads upstairs leaving me in a pool of my own deceit. I smirk at my act.

Ace's POV
"When did they leave?" Eileen walks into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes, then stretching and yawning."Well good morning to you too." I answer her and break an egg onto the pan. My phone starts to ring from the living room and I groan, "Grab my phone for me." I direct to her.
She sighs and reluctantly does as told, "It's Nana." She announces as she hops back into the kitchen.
I take the phone from her and read the display name of the caller, 'mom'. It's been quite long since I talked to or saw her.
"Hey old lady, sup?" I call into the phone.
She sighs and I can imagine her rolling her eyes at me and I chuckle. "I'm not old,you know that Ace."
"Shoot. You're somebody's grandma, you're old mama." I tease her and she laughs. "What's up? Why'd you call?"
"Oh yeah. I just missed you. That and, a friend of mine just moved here with her family so I organized a family dinner.... " she starts to say but I cut her off
"I'll pass."
"They have a daughter about your age." she says in a sing-song voice and I palm my face. "Come on Ace, don't you miss any of us? It gets really boring when our only child lives away from us. "
"What time?" I ask her as I serve the eggs onto our plates.
"Six this evening. Is Lee-Lee there?" she asks. Lee-lee is her pet name for Eileen. When Eileen was younger and you asked for her name, she'd answer "Lee-Lee" and I guess my mom just never got over it.
"Nah, she's in Pluto on vacation." I roll my eyes and hand the phone over to Eileen.
"Nana!" she beams. "Yeah.... Of course. Hmm, cupcakes and soda and.... Okay.... Me too... I love you too.... I take care of him.... Okay... Bye... I love you.. " she ends the call and gives my phone back to me.
"So when are we going there?!" she beams.
"I don't understand why you like it there so much. We'll be there by six-thirty."
"I wouldn't be surprised if Faith is there." She laughs and attempts a joke. She heads out of the kitchen and goes to turn the TV on.
I shake my head. I wouldn't be too. She suddenly seems to be everywhere. And my mom did say a girl around my age would be there.
* * *"Lee! Get down here!" I yell and honk the horn repeatedly. She'd said she forgot the ring my mom had told her to always wear. Of course, she never wears it unless we are going visiting. She thinks it looks like cat barf.
She finally appears through the doorway and locks it shut before running towards the car and hopping in.
I help her with the seatbelt before zooming off.
It takes us twenty minutes to get to my parents'. I stare blankly at the mansion for a while before finally turning the engine off. I remove the key and hop out of the car before going to the backseat to help Eileen out.
Intertwining our arms, we both head inside. Memories of growing up here fills my head and I smile. It's a house too big for a family of three so my mom got some helps to live with us. My condo compared to here is a snail shell but I actually prefer it that way.
I ring on the door bell and shake my head when instead of the usual 'ding-dong', wedding bells start to chime. With a Shelly Winter living here, one shouldn't expect less.
The door opens, revealing my tall mother in a five-inch heel. I almost roll my eyes but fight it back with a smile. Her face is painted in all kind of colours. Women,I could never understand them.
"Ace my baby." she beams and pulls me in for a tight hug without warning. I groan and push her back a little.
"Hey mom." I mumble and walk right in. The familiar scent of the House fills my nostril's and I smile. I turn to look back and see that my mom already has Eileen in her arms.
"Mom, she's not a baby. Put her down." I say, even though I know it's practically a waste of time.
She ignores me and leads me to the dining hall like I don't already know my way around.
My mouth drops when I see the family that's come visiting sitting on the chairs and laughing with my dad. Summer Spade's.
