(Edited)
Overdone, I know, but I hope you like it anyway.
Summary: Our favorite spider hasn't been having a really good day. He has a headache, his Spidey sense is going off a lot, he's emotionally tired, the works. But when he gets home to find the avengers arguing, he just breaks down. (Big mood)
Edits: Gonna just try and make this sound more real in general, and gonna remove stuff that doesn't make much sense. Also more details and the works.
This will contain fluff. You're welcome.

I am done. I've had a really awful day.
I wake up on Friday expecting a good day because I get to go to the tower like every weekend, but instead wake up to loud blaring music, causing me to jolt out of bed. The new neighbors are proving to no be Spider-Man friendly, as loud music + heightened senses = Migraine.
Unfortunately, you can't just casually explain to your upstairs neighbor your whole superhero backstory, so I'd have to live with the loud music for now. I got up and stretched, the mix of sleep and soreness not leaving my muscles despite all attempts to find comfort. It sucked, to say the least.
I didn't think to much about it at the time. It's a bad morning, so what?
I took the subway to school, my head aching as a drunk man lamented loudly about being laid off at his job, nursing a bottle of beer while the other passengers tried to ignore him. That was a bit harder for me though, considering the whole heightened senses thing.
'Man, I know powers are supposed to be a blessing and a curse, but the curse part is coming out a lot more today..' I thought, the headache from this morning becoming more and more persistent as the ride went on.
School went from annoying to pretty much unbearable pretty quickly, as Flash called my name over and over again in class, making my headache worse. I wasn't sure what he was trying to prove, but feeling trapped on top of the headache and the general muck of feelings that was my day was not very fun. I kept my head down though, knowing there was virtually nothing I could do. Ned shot me a concerned look but I waved him off.
I was fine, really. I'm Spider-Man, this doesn't hurt me.
Things only went downhill from there. Flash taunted me ceaselessly, at lunch, in the halls, everywhere. I also got a C on my Spanish test, which was a little less upsetting, but still sucked.
As soon as the bell rang though, my mood took a turn. Time to go to the tower, and hopefully put all this behind me.
I ran to Happys car, jumped in and buckled up. I tried again to ignore the seething headache I had, and the ringing in my ears, but it didn't work. I couldn't muster up the energy to talk, which Happy raised an eyebrow at, but he eventually looked away and at the road.
I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep for a bit.
I soon woke up to Happy stopping the car. I grabbed my stuff and headed to the tower, greeting Friday tiredly on my way. It didn't help my ears as she greeted me back though. I still had a headache. Oh well.
I would work with Mr.Stark on the suit quietly so I can shake off the headache. I'll put all of my frustration into bits of code and parts of the suit so that it would make me stronger rather than hold me back. With that thought in mind, I walked into the common room, my headache dimming.
What I didn't expect was the avengers fighting pretty loudly when I came in.
I didn't know what they were even arguing about, but I do remember being in plenty of pain. I told myself, don't break down, don't break down, but pretty soon I was on my knees trembling. I heard the noise die down a bit, shock coming from the others in the room, but I didn't stay to find out why. I rushed to the guest room I stayed in and shut the door. I then curled into the blankets, trying to block out the noise, not that it helped. My senses were dialed up wayyy past 11 now.
Shit, I murmured to myself, which came out loudly to my ears. I heard a man yelling to his wife about 5 blocks away. I heard an old man writing or drawing something on the next street. I heard construction workers building and talking about budget cuts and structural things 2 blocks away. I heard everything in a 10 mile radius.
Including the door opening revealing a very worried Tony Stark.
"Hey Pete, you okay?" He asked far to loudly for comfort.
I quietly said, "....Mr. Stark, can you please quiet down..."
He came over and lifted the blankets, looking even more worried. He saw me and immediately understood the situation. "Aww geez, I'm sorry Peter, I didn't know you were having sensory overload..." he said at a much more reasonable level.
I sat up, still covering my ears, and shutting my eyes. "....too bright...." I said quietly.
Mr.Stark said quietly, "Friday, dim lights to 5%, and induce SOverload protocol."As soon as I opened my eyes, the lights dimmed. I couldn't hear as much from the outside. The waves of pain that crashed into my brain slowed down a little bit.
Mr. Stark sighed and patted me on the back, pulling me to his shoulder. The comforting weight threw me off at first, but I eventually settled in it. For the first time that day, I felt at peace.
"Tell me what happened, kid."
