LENA'S POV
"It's all because of Beth, isn't it?" I sighed.
"Let me ask you something. If I had been away for a couple of months and you decided to surprise me by going to that country to see me and you'd found me alone drinking with another woman in my apartment almost past midnight, opening the door for me and calling me babe, you wouldn't have been a little taken aback?" Stef said.
I shook my head. "Stef, I see where you're coming from, I do. But if you'd been in my side of things, you would see there's nothing to worry about."
"Really? Because you've never mentioned Beth to me." She said, crossing her arms. I knew I should have mentioned her, but I simply didn't want to do this over the phone. Beth is a bit different than our other friends and I didn't want Stef to get the wrong impression.
"I didn't mention her because I knew you might react this way, but Beth's been a really good friend to me. And for the record, we weren't alone all evening. I invited other people over, they just left before Beth did." It was also true that Beth has been an amazing friend, for everytime I got homesick she'd come over and cheer me up, though definitely not the way Stef was thinking.
Stef huffed. "How convenient of her, to be the last one out."
"Stef. Stop. Beth is a friend, you are my girlfriend and all I do here is talk about how much I love you everyday," I said, to try to distract her, and also because it was true.
"What about 'babe'? You let her call you 'babe'?!"
"Honey! No. It's nothing like that. Beth is a charmer and she calls everyone 'babe', it's part of who she is. This isn't how I wanted you two to meet-"
Stef rolled her eyes. "Well, sorry for coming to see you then." I hated when she did this. But I wasn't willing to waste our precious time together fighting back. We just needed to move past this, and soon Stef would realize Beth was just a friend with a rather extroverted personality, nothing more.
I took a deep breath. "Never apologize for that. Never."
We sat on my bad silently and I grabbed Stef's hand, running my fingers softly through hers.
"Babe, I miss you. You're all I ever talk about. Do you know how happy I was when you walked through that door?" I said softly.
"Oh, you mean after *Beth* let me in?" I have to admit that was a terrible coincidence.
I sighed. "Can we please move past this? I'm just really looking forward to sleeping with you in my arms, cuddling... Beth is my friend; you... you are my love."
Stef looked at me in the eyes. I was pretty sure she could see how honest I was.
"Please?" I asked, running my fingers through her hair softly.
Stef gave in and finally kissed me. Softly. Slowly.
"I love your new hair," I said, running my fingers through it and noticing how much it'd grown after about two months. I also felt the need to say because Stef always told me how self conscious she felt about her hair every time she decided to change it. It wasn't long or short, which I knew she hated, but I loved it.
Stef shook her head. "You're fucking perfect."
I took my top off - for the second time this evening -, hoping Stef wouldn't reject me now.
"You're moving fast," Stef laughed at my rushness.
I smiled. "Two months, honey, two months." I was as horny as ever.
She shook her head. "I want to take my time with you. Very. Slowly."
I kissed Stef and took off her sweatshirt in the process. "Maybe later."
Stef smiled at me as I kissed her neck.
She unclapsed my bra, leaving me naked from waist up. "That's ok. We can go slowly the second time," she said, massaging my nipples and dragging me to bed with her.

"Much. Better." I said, kissing Stef's arm.Stef grinned at me and kissed me. "I really am stronger than I thought I was."
"Yeah, why's that?" I asked, caressing her cheek and holding her hand.
"Pff. Going two months without you? Without... this..." she said, kissing my lips softly.
I giggled. "It really was hard. Phone sex isn't nearly as good as this."
Stef brought my hand to her lips and kissed it softly. "Enjoy me while you have me."
I sighed. "When are you leaving? I didn't even ask you because I didn't want to burst my bubble of happiness."
"I'm actually staying for about a week. I managed to get some time off."
I raised an eyebrow. "That's unusual."
"Well... They kicked me out of there for a week actually." Stef admitted, avoiding eye contact.
"What? You never told me that. What's happened?" I asked, straightening up to hear her explanation.
Stef laughed. Only she would laugh in a moment like this. "I was working too much and staying at the paper for long hours. They thought it'd be best if I took some time off to clear my head."
"I've always known you to be a workaholic but I didn't think it'd get this bad!"
Stef ran her fingers through her hair and stood up, putting her sweatshirt on. "It's fine, it's all good, okay? I don't want you to worry. I'm here now and that's all that matters."
I shook my head. "I really wanna talk about this but-"
Stef grabbed a long sleeved shirt out of her suitcase and threw it at me. "Put some clothes on. I'm exhausted, but I'm totally down for talking about this over breakfast. Specially if it involves some of your famous pancakes.."
I smiled and smelled her shirt. "It's my favorite shirt. It smells like you."
Stef got in bed and kissed me. "That's why I want you to have it to sleep in. Now, please, wear it."
I grinned. "Excuse me, do you happen to have a problem with my naked body?"
"I do when I'm exhausted and can't take advantage of it," she winked at me.
"Everytime you wink at me, I get just a little bit wet." I said. It'd honestly been way too long and one time was definitely not enough.
"Fuck, Lena. You do?" She said, looking at me with lust in her eyes.
I grinned. "You wanna check it yourself?" I said, grabbing her hand and putting it just above my pussy.
She inserted two fingers and felt my wetness. "Yep. You really are so ready for me."
I kissed her lips as she teased my cit for a while, hearing my soft moans. Suddenly, though, she took her fingers from me and licked them. "But, as I said before, I'm exhausted."
"What?!" I said, completely sexually frustrated.
Stef laughed. "Good night, love," and kissed my cheek.
"Stef, get back here. I can't believe you did this to me!" I said, desperately.
She laughed some more and turned the lights off. But that's okay. Payback's a bitch.
