Shayla's P.O.V.

Thomas was looking deep into my teary eyes. Hannah... is his daughter???

"Uh..." Was all I could force out.

He nodded and said, "I'm surprised she didn't tell you I mean... its been 6 years since I've seen her so she didn't recognize me."

"Um sh-sh-she didn't tell me anything about like why she was in there. Errrrrm what happened?"

"We're gonna be here a while. Let me find a place where we can talk other then a ditch."

"Alright." I wiped my eyes as he drove to an empty parking lot.

"Hannah... was majorly depressed when she was a small child. She was diagnosed with extreme depression that couldn't be healed. Her mother was very young when she had her. She died during child birth so I tried taking care of her. Didn't go so well... Her school and feeding and care was... lacking and she tried killing herself and me. Many... many times. I couldn't take care of her and I didn't really want to so at age 8, I put her in foster care. Hannah was a danger to herself and the other children. She got put back into my care and I sent her to a mental institution for a year. When she came home, she was more depressed and we lived in a trailer and well... she set it on fire. I saw her yelling in the corner. I grabbed her and went out through the emergency exit. Things got worse that I never want to think about again so I'm not saying them. at age 10, she kinda grew out of her destructive phase. I got a job as a police officer so I put her in foster care again. People rejected her so many times. Hannah has been in homes for almost half of her life... The only reason she's alive.... is because..."

Thomas started balling and covering his face.

"I-Its okay. You don't have to..." I studdered while sniffling.

"She was a failed abortion!" He sobbed.

My mouth dropped and my hands went over it.

"She was 15... Wh-y-y-y?" He wailed.

"T-Thomas... Who was 15?"

"HER MOTHER!" He cried into the steering wheel.

I gulped and looked at the ground and boldly asked,

"Do you want to see your daughter? Do you want to have a relationship with the wonderful young girl she's become? I suggest you turn this car around and go. See. Her!"

He lifted and said, "She'll remember. And she'll never forgive me..."

"Please! Right now, she's confused and hurting and scared! She needs a father."

"What am I going to do with you? I'm supposed to bring you back to the home. It's a days drive! I doubt she will still be there and I can't track her!"

"I'm not asking for grace because... I don't deserve it but... if you wanna see Han, you need to go right now."

He looked at me then started the car. My eyes widened as Thomas was reversing.

"Don't expect this ever again. You're still going back and don't get any ideas!" He demanded.

I grinned ear to ear and hugged the back of his seat. Tom was speeding back to the bus. I hope they're still there!

Hannah's P.O.V.

"AHHHHH!!!!!!" I let out.

Everything was silent.

"Oh sh-" I hid under my blankets while Calum ran through the door.
