[last time on Chronophobia]

"You keep saying that. Saying that he told you"
"He told me to leave"

"He what?! What do you mean told you to leave?!"
Mercy had stopped her attempt in escaping and stood still in front of 7-Jack

"He told me leave and don't look back. He knew something was coming for him! Why didn't he tell me?" Jack looked sad and angry

Well.. body language wise
"So..what now? We need to confront Reaper? We have to know what happened!"
"Not we, Angela. I"

"Excuse me? I'm the one who held his hand in his final moments as he fucking breathed out my God damn name you bastard!"

Jack no doubt felt pain that it wasn't his name, but he wasn't that selfish. But again, Gabe was the one that told him to leave. He just obeyed.
Hurts to know it wasn't his name
He said that in his head with no second thoughts
He was pissed it wasn't his name

Angela at that moment forgot a very tiny detail
The fact that Gabriel had been breathing out smoke
Black smoke
That resembled the smoke that left

But, could you blame the woman? Who would remember that when you spend the next few years dreaming of that window and what left it
Pretending that it didn't happen

Now that she knew something called the "Reaper" was out there somewhere it couldn't possibly be a weird supernatural occurrence
It was definitely that thing!
...Right?

She then heard Genji's voice
"Angela! Finally! I've been looking for you everywhere!" He exclaimed pretending that he didn't just hear all that

Soldier76 immediately cleared his throat and disappeared
"Are you okay?" He asked as he took notice of her shaken up form
"Huh? Yeah. How was Hanzo?"
"As bitter as ever"
She rolled her eyes and sighed "So no?"
"Yeah.. I don't think he's coming.."

That was also a lie. Genji knew his brother would succumb to the desire. He wanted a chance to be good again. To taste victory.
He obviously wanted redemption and this was obviously his biggest shot at it
He'd come around eventually

"Well.. let's introduce you to the new pe-"
"Hana and Lucio? I've already met them. Bumped into Lena. She was showing them around"

Angela pouted "I wanted to do that" She grumbled in a small voice
Genji chuckled at that but behind that act was a fire burning hotter and hotter

He hated seeing how easily Angela played this thing off as if nothing was the matter
How she lied to him and continues to do so

He honestly didn't know who to trust anymore
Well, he did.
He just won't admit it
