Genji has been seeing Zenyatta every single day, most of the day for the past month.
He was finally getting better. He was calmer and a lot happier.

He and Jesse had been getting to know each other again. They were friends again. Jesse was still hurt, but he was happy too. Happy that Genji was happy.

Mercy has been down and low due to the fact that Genji hasn't been the most trusting recently and the fact that Jack has been gone most of the time

Jack has disappeared most of the time he doesn't train the new recruits, have meetings or go on missions. No one knew where he was going

Sombra and Widow have been sleeping in hotels more than usual, but they were okay with it
D.Va and Lucio has started dating one week ago, that means they only knew each other for a month before Lucio asked her out

Things were going smoothly at the Overwatch base.. until someone came asking for Genji

Genji ran downstairs from where he was with Jesse on the rooftop and came face to face with someone he almost gave up on seeing again

"Hanzo.." he uttered, shocked
"Hello, brother" Hanzo replied, his eyes betraying his pain and his longing for his brother

His eyes shifted to the man next to his brother. He was standing close to Genji, almost in a protective way "Jesse, I hate to ruin our-"

"Hey! Smokin' on a rooftop can wait, darlin'. Take all the time you need. If ya need me, you know where I am" McCree tipped his hat to Hanzo before leaving
"You finally decided to join?"

Hanzo didn't reply, his face hard to read
"Hanzo, the least you can do is talk to me" Genji said, crossing his arms "And what might we talk about? What I did to you?"

"No.. that's all in the past. We left that behind us"
"You left that behind you! I could never forget what I did" his outburst shocked Genji

"I have forgiven you, Hanzo"
Hanzo shook his head "I will never be able to forgive myself" he looked away from Genji
"..brotherly hug?" Genji suggested "I don't do hugs. And neither should you"

Genji rolled his eyes under his visor "I'll show you around and take you to your room. Follow me"

"Who was that man?" Hanzo asked after they reached a deserted hallway "Who? Jesse? A friend of mine.. why?"

"I don't know.. he looked stupid"
"He is heavily inspired by a movie" Genji replied
"I could tell.. he seemed closer than a friend"
"He is a very close friend"

Yes, the summary is clickbait
I didn't plan the book like this, just when I was writing it it morphed into something else!
The original idea was that Jack was so afraid of their possibly non-existent future when Gabe joins talon that he disappears.. Wew

Gotta say I prefer this version

Hopefully will be continued in another book!
Next book "Philophobia" the fear of falling in love or emotional attachment

This book was supposed to show you how they feared their futures if ya couldn't tell! I'm hoping to make this a three-book series!
