Mira knew precisely where she was heading after she had woken two days after everyone had returned. The events had driven her to her breaking point. She was constantly pushing people together. Her countless "ships" deriving from Mira's knowledge of who her friends had crushes on or liked. Despite her encouraging words or actions for them to confess. Yet, she had never had the courage to take her own advice or encouragement. Even after all that happened Mira still found herself on Laxus' doorstep. Shakily Mira raised her hand listening to the sound of her knock resounding three consecutive times, before stepping back from the door.

The dark-stained oak door opened with a grunt from Lauxs joining alongside it. Mira plastered a bright smile upon her face giving a friendly greeting "Hello, Lightning Bug." Laxus gave out a familiar exasperated grumble as he moved to allow Mira to enter. With a giddy bounce in her steps, Mira crossed through the front door. As she scanned the room, she felt her smile fade into a genuine smile of nostalgia. The mocha brown couch sat near the door, facing the far back wall. Upon the adjacent wall hung a midsized lacrima screen. Nestled beneath the screen stood a wooden bookcase, matching the wood tone of the front door. Facing the living room was the kitchen, which the two began walking toward.

Sitting upon the familiar wood-toned barstools. Mira startled slightly when the feeling of warm ceramic settled between her hands. Looking down she found herself meeting her own gaze in the reflection shining upon the deep brown liquid steaming from the white mug, the Fairy Tail symbol strikingly opposing the ceramic's color. Laxus' boisterous laugh spooked Mira from her unaware trance. She sheepishly grinned back up at Laxus, who stood across from Mira. The island counters the single thing separating the two. Although Laxus' words were what surprised her most "What two started dating now?" Mira looked at Laxus genuine confusion written clear upon her face and in her expression. He raised an eyebrow before responding "Which one of your ships got together? That's typically one of the biggest reasons why you come over." Mira's eyes widened shades of red seemingly rising up her face in embarrassed horror. It had slipped Mira's mind that she often used that excuse to come to see and spend time with Laxus. Thankfully, Laxus remained unaware of that detail, had assumed she was blushing from embarrassment due to either having been caught or just her being embarrassed that he was right.

Mira decided playing along would be the best decision. Thus, she said "Well, I don't know truly. However, I wanted to...gush about all their adorable yet oblivious interactions. Like how Natsu and Lucy interacted, or even how Gray was treating Juvia." she trailed off in thought slightly before continuing "I mean did you pick up on how he didn't push her away or...not so much shout or yell. More so startled scolding for her to stop fawning over him. It was so cute; he had her head tucked under his chin. His expression was like he was in an argument, not comfortably cuddling with Juvia." As she went on, she fell into her fangirl mindset, thoughts of having just wanted to talk with Laxus pushed to the back of her head. Laxus raised his mug to his lips, attempting to seem as if he was casually drinking from the white ceramic.

However, he had truly been meaning to conceal his adoring smile Mira had seemingly forced his lips to adorn. He did not want to alert her, especially if she wasn't as enthralled, with her reciting of varying interactions, as he thought. Every instinct in his body wanted to pull her from the stool and kiss her. It was exhaustingly torturous how hard he had to fight himself. He tried focusing on Mira's words, her story. When Mira found herself honing back in from her fangirl stupor, she slowly stood. Her movement alerted Laxus from his hyper-focused state. He faltered enough for his resolve to crumble as if a building caught in a Fairy Tail battle. With ostensibly no control Laxus felt his lips collide with Mira's. Just as soft, plush as he'd imagined them.

When the two separated, it was with a startled gasp Mira realized what Laxus had just done. She lifted her hand, partially obscuring her lips. Only slightly was her smirk-like smile exposed. Her expression truly rivaling that of her she-devil form, this was quite the alarming detail to Laxus. He worried if he finally pushed it too far with her or even misconstrued her affections. Nevertheless, Laxus stood tall and firm in his place. Mira, however, moved from where she had been planted stably. It was in that instance Mira released all of her emotions toward the blonde-haired second-generation dragon slayer. "Laxus, you have no idea how much I've had to restrain myself from doing that. Truthfully, my reason for coming over so much had no correlation with my fangirling, despite what I claimed. I honestly wanted to just talk. Merely to satisfy my concerns and want to have you near. I love you." The white-haired barmaid looked directly into his eyes with what had to be one of the most beautiful and precious upturn of her lips. Laxus returned her smile prior to saying "Mira, I love you too. Still, I'd appreciate it if you refrain from calling me 'Lightning bug,' in front of any guild members." Mira smiled goofily in return to his mention of her nickname for him right before the two erupted into fits of laughter. Laxus lovingly pressed their foreheads together as their laughter continued, it gradually dying out. Nothing could have made Mira any happier than she was in that moment. Well, maybe if she found all her ships had sailed. She didn't quite know if she'd be ecstatic that it happened without at least a little of her influence, but she supposes that it didn't quite matter in the end. Especially as she'd found her own ship was gradually leaving its port, strengthening its hull.
