When Eijirou woke up that summers morning, Katsuki was sitting on the windowsill of their room, looking out at the street below.
The way the morning sun framed his half naked body, glimmering over his muscular chest and arms, made Eijirou's heart skip a beat.
Even after two years of being with this man, he still got weak at the sight of him.
It must have been mid-morning. Eijirou and Katsuki had been up late reading, as well as doing...ahem...other things.
And yet, like always, Katsuki woke up early enough to watch the sun rise.
"Morning," the blond mumbled, having sensed Eijirou's movements.
"Morning." Ei responded, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "How's the breeze?"
"Well, my nipples are hard, so there's that."
Eijirou felt shivers up his spine. "You know what else is...?"
"Ei, I'm not up for another round right now."
"I was going to say German...because of the consonants?"
Katsuki's face was bright red and Eijirou was so obsessed.
Oh.
German wasn't the only hard thing after all.
"Hey, Ei,"
"Yeah?"
"Come here."
Eijirou slipped out of bed, padding across the floor with soft feet. He was still mostly naked from the night before, only wearing Katsuki's spare pants and a necklace the blond had given him that carried his mother's tooth.
"Did you change your mind about wanting another round?" Ei wrapped his arms around his boyfriend and gave him a soft kiss behind the ear, right in the spot that made the blond melt every time.
He did melt this time, but quickly pulled himself out of it.
"Ei, look over there." He pointed across the street, to the elderly man selling cabbages next to the bakery. There was one customer at the stall, inspecting a vegetable closely.
"Is that...?"
"It is." Katsuki nodded.
"For real? This isn't a prank?!"
"Would we really prank you with something like this?"
"I mean...I..."
"Go catch him before he gets away. You don't want to wait another three years for this."
"You're right..." Eijirou grabbed his vest, slipping it on as he rushed out of the room, Katsuki following right behind him.
He rushed through the tavern and onto the street, rounding the corner until he got to the cabbage stand.
He halted, fear overtaking him. Was he really doing this? After all this time.
"Go on." Katsuki nudged him forward, sending him through his last step.
"Uh...uhm...are you...Crimson Riot?"
The man turned around, red armour creaking as he did. He looked Eijirou up and down, sizing him up. His eyes stopped on his face, mouth softening from its scowl when the realization hit him.
"Ryuku..."
"Dad?" Eijirou swallowed.
"God...you look just like your mother..."
"T-thanks..." Eijirou's head was spinning. After all this time, he was meeting his dad. This was his dream...his main quest.
"And who's this? A friend of yours?" The older man eyed Katsuki suspiciously.
"He's my boyfriend." Eijirou answered just as Katsuki filled in the sentence with "betrothed."
"Wait...betrothed? When did you propose?" The redhead was so baffled.
"When I gave you that necklace. I thought you understood what it meant."
"That was a gift..."
"A Valentine's Day gift. A proposal."
"WE'VE BEEN BETROTHED FOR SIX MONTHS?!"
Katsuki snorted.
"Yeah, moron. Six months."
Eijirou laughed softly, feeling giddy. He was ENGAGED. How did that happen?
Oh well.
It wasn't like he minded one bit.

Oops I finished it. I don't know when the next fic will be up but keep an eye on my profile for the next week or two.
