Brandon
Sierra's POV
"LIKE what?! Oh my god! I cannot believe it."
"I know, Jen. Gad! I didn't believe it either." Hinarap niya ako sa kaniya. "This is your chance, Sierra. Look how bless you are." Napailing ako. "Paano kung napipilitan lang pala si Josh? I mean I want him to be happy."
"Look, Sierra. Do you think you can't make him happy?" I don't know but there's something bothering me. I shrug the thought. "By the way, where's Tess?" I shifted the topic.
"Still in class? Don't know." sinuyod ko ng tingin ang buong lugar. Nasa cafeteria kami ngayon ni Jen nagtatanghalian. While looking around my eyes darted to Tess na kakapasok pa lang.
"Tess! Over here." She look in my direction and smiled at me. I smiled back but my smiled faded when I notice the guy who is with her. Nabato ako sa aking kinauupuan. I didn't expect to see him here. "Jen, Sierra, I'd like you to meet Brandon. Brandon, these are my friends, Jen and Sierra."
Habang pinapakilala siya ni Tess ay tulala lang ako. I was pull back from my reverie when Tess snap.
"I'm sorry. What is it again?" Nilahad niya ang kaniyang kamay.
"It's nice to meet you, Sierra. By the way I'm Brandon. I'm Tess cousin."
He look at me meaningfully. I feel like my cheek burn. Napayuko ako. Bigla kong naalala ang mga kagagahan na ginawa noon para mapansin lang niya. Oh my god! It was so embarrassing.
"Likewise." We shake hands.

I'm busy looking on my phone when I suddenly bumped into someone. "Sorry, hindi ko sinasadya."
"It's ok." natigilan ako ng marinig ang boses na 'yon. It's very familiar. Inangat ko ang aking tingin at hindi nga ako nagkamali. It's Brandon.
"Hello, Sierra." he give me a devilish smile that makes me shiver down my spine.
"H-Hi, ahm I'm sorry. Excuse me." I walk pass him pero natigilan ako sa sinabi niya.
"Now you're sorry." Ang lamig lamig ng boses niya at ramdam ko ang galit doon.
Hindi ko namalayan na tumulo na pala ang mga luha ko. He was my ultimate crush back then. Bigla bumalik ang mga alaala sa utak ko ng mga oras na patay na patay pa ako sa kaniya.
Dahil sa sobra kung pagkagusto sa kaniya ay nasaktan ko siya ng sobra. With his words alam kong hindi pa niya ako napapatawad sa nangyari.
Nagpakadesperada kasi ako noon dahil sa sobra kong pagmamahal sa kanya at inuuulit ko na naman iyon ngayon kay Josh.
Hindi ko maiwasang isipin na baka sa huli iiwan lang din niya ako. I love differently and I'm ashame of it. Paano kung ayaw niya rin taggapin ang pagmamahal ko katulad ni Brandon?
What if I'll just hurt Josh at the end?
"Brandon... Ayoko ko ng muling ibalik ang nakaraan. Alam kong ako ang may kasalanan sa nangyari pero pinagsisihan ko na 'yun lahat." I look at his eyes asking for forgiveness.
"Please maniwala ka sa'kin." I whispered sadness all over my face.
His expression is stoic but I know he will forgive me... Soon. He shifted his gaze and took a deep breath.
"We can't undo the past, Sierra." Aniya pagkatapos ng mahabang katahimikan.
Lugmok akong napayuko. Nawalan ako ng lakas ng loob na isiping mapapatawad niya pa ako.
I betrayed him and it's a grieve sin that I have to suffer.
"I know, Brandon." Ani ko habang nangingilid ang mga luha.
"You know?"
I nodded.
"Then let's bury it all in the past now and start a new. I'm ready to forgive you, Sierra. I understand why you did what you did before."
Hindi ako makapaniwala. Tulala akong nakapatingin sa kanya habang pinuproseso ang lahat.

"You want to forgive me? But why?" Nalilito kong tanong na hindi pa rin makapaniwala.
"Yes," he shortly replied making my heart jump in happiness.
"Oh my God! Thank you, Brandon. Thank you so much. Now I can continue in peace. Thank you, thank you."
Napatakip ako ng bibig at bumubuhos ang aking mga luha sa saya. I still can't believe it. Hindi ko inaakala na darating ang panahon na 'to.
Now there's only one person that I owe an apology.
"Sierra, I'm not only here to forgive you. I won't come this far it's all that I need. I know you're thinking the same."
I paused and give him all my attention. Nakakapagtaka nga na dinayo pa talaga niya ako rito. I know he's up to something and this is it.
"Can I ask why?"
He give me a serious look.
"I want your help." Agaran niyang saad.
Napakunot ang noo ko. Why me of all people? Mas lalo akong naintriga sa gusto niyang mangyari.
"I know you're confuse but it's about Brenda."
Nang marinig ko ang pangalan na iyon ay naalerto ako. She's the one I owe an apology.
"Bakit, Brandon? Anong problema?" I concernly ask seeing his worried face.
"She's gone. I want you to help me find her." My pagmamakaawa sa tuno niya.
I tap his shoulder to calm him.
"You don't have to ask, Bran. I'll definitely help you... Since I'm the one who started this." Pabulong ang huli pero alam kong narinig niya 'yon.
"Stop blaming yourself, Sierra. We can't undo things. It happened for a reason."
Tumango ako still ashame of the past that's been hunting me.
"Will gonna find her and make things right." Pursigido kong ani.
He give me a smile.
I'll do everything to make things straight this time.
