Drink for the day: White Nigerian (M - stands for Milk) kasi if there's a black American there should be a white Nigerian.
This menu is getting out of hand.
After that day, everything somehow became normal. Too normal that the three guys are worried. Ryen doesn't look down. He doesn't seem sad nor about to cry. He doesn't ignore people. And guess what? He smiles a lot. A LOT.
It's very weird for his best friends.
Oh, wait. This is not normal, isn't it?
You see, when Ryen walked down the stage that time, his friends came rushing to his side. They tried to console him but he laughed at them. Saying he's fine and all, he asked how was his performance. If they liked it or whatever, until his classmates and his Profs' swarmed all over him.
The three guys didn't have the chance to ask him again.
But Lara went to speak with him.
But Ryen showed no bitterness, or tormenting glares, nothing. He smiled at Lara and asked her if his performance was okay.
Lara is a poet. Ryen always admired and Idolized her for her poems and stories. That's where they started. A crush. A simple crush.
But something simple can turn into something extravagant or a trash.
Lara was spooked. She couldn't believe the warm eyes, the warm smile, the friendly tone. Ryen completely changed when he got down the stage. She wasn't prepared for his smiles.
To be honest, no one is.
But what happened?
By this time, Ryen's mind is very clear. Empty even. He's like, in an avatar state. It's like his spirit overlapped with his body.
Two things can be interpreted in this behavior, one, it's a rainbow after the rain, or two, it's the calm before the storm.
So, which is which?
Ryen is a deceptionist. That's the thing he thought about when he went down. When you say something repeatedly, it becomes genuine. This is the creed of a true liar.
And so, he smiled, and said that he's okay and willed it to be true.
If you say something repeatedly, it becomes genuine.
It's like what the Wise had said, "lie, until it becomes the truth."
Which brings us back to this point. They're serving customers, two times larger than their usual crowd.
Of course Danilo was overjoyed. He succeeded on gathering customers. He saw an advantage on that Psych Week.
The people from Ryen's school came frequently to see him and the other guys. Of course to buy drinks and food as well, but ulterior motives, am I right?
Some students also found the place soothing for studying, the music and the ambiance of TinamoCafé is comfortable. Unless you find depressing songs to be soothing then we know there's something wrong with you.
Taking advantage of the norms, and the unusual. That's TinamoCafé's motto.
The creed of a true fraud.
These guys are the worst. And I love it.
"Sorry there are no more seats," Ryen apologised. He's the cashier today.
"It's okay, I can order for takeouts right?" The guy asked.
First things first, Ryen was intrigued with this stranger. He looks like someone out from a comic book. Pale complexion, dark blue hair, blue eyes, tall as heck, and dressed as if it was winter.
