Drink for the day: Ristretto (cf) a depresso shot that is extracted with same amout of coffee but half the amout of water. Because everytime you give your 100℅ it comes back to you in half or less.
Jorge Del Pilar left the group.
"Ah, so, kaya ka nandito ngayon sa lamesa ko, at kaya ka nakikipag-usap sa 'kin ay dahil d'yan."
Ryen nodded in response to Sidney's scepticism as he pulls his phone away from Sidney's face. He won't lie about this subject because, let's face the truth, Reinier Crest Benitez just told them his deepest darkest secret.
It's funny how he kept it for 9 years.
"I don't really consider you two as my friends,"
Not because he considered them as more than friends. Like a brother or an f word. No. He meant what he said.
He doesn't consider them as friends.
Ryen sighed and slumped on the table, looking at Sidney with deadish eyes while the latter stared back in silent judgment.
"No, Minnie, if I like what's happening right now, I wouldn't even be talking to you," Ryen said and rolled his eyes.
"Don't do that." Sidney grinned. "I hate that I like it when you know what I'm thinking." Then she realised something, "wow, thanks for reminding me that I'm just an option too."
"You're welcome," Ryen replies with a menacing grin, but it didn't stay long.
Sidney sighed. "Then? What would you do?"
"Nothing." He buried his face on the table. "I don't have to do anything."
Sidney reached out to touch his hair, then she rustled it. "Kawawa ka naman." She giggled.
"Bakit ako kawawa?" He held her hand that was caressing his hair and gazed at her. "May kaibigan pa 'rin ako, I didn't lose anyone so bakit ako 'yung kawawa?"
Sidney smiled. "Kasi ikaw 'yung affected."
Ooh, homerun. Sapul na sapul si Ryen sa puso. Something he did not see coming, why was he even affected?
"I don't like it when you make sense."
"You don't like me even if I don't make sense."
Magsasalita sana si Ryen but thought better of it. He pursed his lips and grinned. Sidney shrugged and grinned back.
I'm not so sure that Sidney has moved on but the two of them are getting better at conversing with honesty along the way. At least they're friends.
"Ano ba'ng nangyari?'
"Hmm . . . "
Okay amici, let's have a flashback, shall we?
