Hello, mateys! So, recap from the last scene of the last real chapter, Ryen whispered some terrifying things in Sidney's ear.

Like, accepting an invitation from a certain kid from North pole. And that certain topic, irks the people close to him, for instance:

"Kim, hindi ka naman magki-quit 'di ba? Hindi ka naman tatawag sa number na 'yan 'di ba? Sasakalin kita 'di ba?" poor Reindeer asked with so much stress.

Napataas ang kilay ni Ryen. "Calm yo tits bruh," he said and threw the business card at Reinier's face. "It's a joke."

"Joke huh." Reinier squinted, catching the card with both his hands and ripping it to shreds. Ryen looked at him dead in the eye. "K fine," Reinier tsked.

"K pop." Ryen laughed heartily.

Now, if you were to ask me if he really were lying, I'd answer you this: I haven't got a clue.

"Jokes are half meant." Danilo said over the counter which made the other members of the boyband look at him in wonder. "Linisin n'yo 'yang kalat n'yo." He stared at Ryen without any emotion and turned his back at them and entered the staff room.

"An'yare kay Papi?" Ryen asked Jorge when he walked over to the counter.

" 'ba malay ko, baka nagtatampo sa 'yo." Jorge shrugged and patted Ryen on the head. "Kausapin mo nalang mamaya. Magbubukas na tayo ng shop, punta ka na do'n sa pinto."

"Welcome beloved customers!" Ryen and Reinier greeted in unison as people walks inside the café.

The people greeted back, and the two mushrooms assisted everyone they can assist.

"Raaaai!" Ryen turned when he got called, it was Angelica. Together with a boy he thought was Nexus.

So, Nexus, is a shy guy, not really shy kapag nakausap mo at close na kayo, he has a foul mouth, kaya magkasundo sila ni Ryen and he's cute too!

"Angelica," Ryen regarded with a nod. "Hi, Nexy!"

"Yo," mahiyaing sagot naman nito.

Ryen led them to a table near the corner and took their orders. Angelica took Short black this time which made Ryen's eyebrow arch. Nexus ordered something sweet.

"What?" Angelica asked.

"Bawal ka ng black coffee 'di ba?"

Angelica was surprised that Ryen remembers. She smiled a little and laughed. "Masarap ang bawal."

"Mas masarap ma-ospital dahil sa high blood." He retorted. Remembering the time na na-ospital si Angelica dahil uminom ng black coffee at inatake ng high blood.

Inirapan nalang s'ya ni Angelica and sighed. She can't win so she just surrendered. Although, Angelica never surrenders.

"Ako naman ang magbabayad."

"Ayaw naming ma-issue kape namin dahil nag-serve kami ng hindi pwede sa customer. Pag nangisay ka pa d'yan kasalanan pa namin," he stated in a matter-of-fact tone.

Nexus suddenly let out peals of laughter. At least I'm not the only who thought the exchange was funny.

"Para kayong tanga," oh my gosh, I'm not going to need to censor his words, am I?

Ryen and Angelica turned to him with eyebrows raised. Then they laughed at him. I think I know why, because his voice sounds so cute and gentle tapos ang bulgar n'ya magsalita.
