It's been about three months since Tyler had moved out into the real world. He's been traveling everywhere, Taco and Jasper had dropped out to join him, too.
We had finals next week, then after that, I would finally be able to go home.

I got a text from Tyler, my phone lighting up.

THE SHOES ARE GONE! sold out in minutes!!
-Tyler

I smiled at my phone, knowing how his ideas were all finally coming to fruition. His fan base was growing, but we weren't getting any closer.
I could feel myself slipping away every time we would talk on facetime; which was once a week, if possible. He was growing, but I felt stuck. I couldn't see him, talk to him, touch him, Tyler and I were drifting apart, and it wasn't hard to tell. His famous friends seemed closer to him than I did at this point.

Of course I was extremely excited and happy for him, but it wasn't my journey; I didn't even feel like I was sharing it with him, I felt so alone, I wanted him back home. But I knew it wasn't possible. Who knows the next time we would see eachother.

I needed to talk to him.

YAY!! CONGRATS!! U DESERVE IT!
-me

I sighed as I put my phone into my pocket, sinking into my seat at the professor lectured us.

...

I got out of class, checking my phone again.
Notifications crashed my phone about new followers on my socials, fuck it was so annoying.

hey, can we talk? it's important
-me

I waited for T to reply, but it wasn't until I got to my dorm that he called me.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I could hear people in the back talking.

"Are you busy right now? I need a few minutes."

"Uh, yeah hold up," Tyler's voice grew quieter as I heard him shut a door. I could hear him a lot clearer. "Okay."

"I–I think we might need a break."

There was silence before he spoke.

"What?"

"We...I, need a break. Tyler, It's getting harder."

"What's getting harder? School? You have a week or something left, then i'll see you again, soon. I promise."

"No, you won't. You said that during the first break. Then the next break, and just last month. It's just not...it's only going to get more hectic, T."

"I don't know what to say," He breathed into the phone, unsure. "Just give me this month. We can work it out."

I sighed, "T, I don't know."

"I know it's hard as fuck. But i'm done with the album. Did you hear it? I sent it to your email last night. It's out in a few weeks."

I smiled to myself.

"I heard a few songs of it. Cherry Bomb right?"

"Yeah. I wrote Okaga, and blow my load for you," He laughed through the phone, and I did too.

"Yeah, I figured. I loved it. I can't believe you're doing it T. I'm so proud."

"I'm sorry you weren't able to be here throughout the whole writing process. It fucking sucks. You'll be here for the next one though, for sure."

I sighed, knowing it wasn't probably going to happen.
