Youth's POV
Tonight I feel so happy in my heart, I've never felt so joyous , Susan agreed to be my woman,
God knows I'm not gonna let her down, I'll do everything I can to make her love me .
Richie just ruined my moment by calling at wrong time,
I just wanna spend every time I have with Susan ,
My world
I take her hand in mine and lead her out of the room,
We walk through the hall way in comfortable silence ,
We arrive at the hall and I lead Susan in, I can tell she's nervous , I squeeze her hand gently to reassure her, she looks up to me and smile revealing her diamond dimples , I smile back at her and walk into the party.
Susan's Pov
As we walk in, hand in hand, all eyes turns on us , I can see Dennis standing beside Richard with a glass of wine in her hand, she looks down at youth's hand in my mine the glass in her hand immediately drops on the floor
For some reason , i feel victorious, smile wickedly at her and she scowls
"I'll be back baby" youth whispers in my ear, he just called me baby
My knees has just grown weak
I nod at him, and he let's go of my hand and walks towards the stage , I watch him walk with so much grace , this wonderful aura around him and I feel a swell of pride, my man
I manage to steal a glance at Dennis, the look on her face is dreadful, like she could explode anytime soon .
"There you are!" , I turn to see Carla and jake arm in arm walking towards me smiling like toddlers, they look so cute
I'm a wonderful match maker!
"Now that was a show, he can't even take his eyes off you" Carla says , just then I notice that youth has his eyes fixed on me whilst addressing the audience
" you're gonna give me every single detail tomorrow " Carla exclaims , grinding broadly
" i and carla wont be staying for the rest of the party, we are heading home, I suppose you'd be going with youth, or if you aren't you could come with us though " Jake says ,
"Ah nah, I'm good, I don't wanna ruin your fun, I'll go with youth " I assure him patting his chest gently
"Give happiness a chance honey" Jakes says with a smile , he leans over and pecks my forehead,
I smack Carla's ass as they leave "you both had better be alive by tomorrow" I smirk and I hear their laughter fade off,
"Hey bitch ! Don't be fooled, he's only gonna use you for a while, there's been many before you bitch, don't let it get to your head, he will always be mine" Dennis blasts in my face as she storm out of the party
I stand there staring at her leaving, lost in thought, she could be right about youth ,.... I'm unaware that youth had finished addressing the audience
"Did you miss me?" Someone hugs me from behind and whispers in my ear startling me, I jump frighteningly , then I realise its youth
"Oh youth, you're done"
"I'm Sorry I startled you " youth says softly,
I nod
"Suz Are you okay?" Youth asks
"Yeah I am, sure" I lie
"I saw Dennis come over to you, what did she say to you baby" youth says softly and he cups my face in his palms
"Its nothing youth , I'm fine" I reply flatly
He sighs ,
"Okay then, its late, lemme get you home" he says dully and let's go of my face, he takes my hand in his leads me out of the hall, my foot still hurts, I'm limping slightly, in a swift motion youth carries me in bridal style,
He walks quietly to his car with me In his arms ,
We arrive at where he parked his car, a black SUV , and he gently puts me down
"Youth?" I call
"Yes baby" he replies
Youth is staring at me with deep concern and worry,
I stare into his eyes not blinking for a second,
"Are you honest about your feelings for me?" I ask
I see a look of hurt in his eyes ,
He draws close to me, he towers over me and cups my face
" suz I don't know what Dennis must have told you , but baby I need you to believe me when i say you mean so much to me, yes I had several women in the past but I never dated them , I'm crazy about you suz, only you " youth says softly, he bends over and kisses me senseless
"I love you suz, only you" he says.
We drive home in peaceful silence, I feel so joyous within me, I can't trust him yet, but I could try,
Youth pulls over at my house I try to open my door but he beats me to it,
He opens the door, and scoops me in bridal style
We get to the front door
"Where's your key?" Youth asks,
I stare at him puzzlingly , I open my purse to fetch my keys,
"Unlock the door" he instructs and I obey,
He takes me inside and gently places me on the couch ,
"Are you good here, or should I carry you to your room" he asks gently
"Arrrgh I'm fine youth I'm not crippled!" I yell jokingly
"Okay then , I'll pick you up tomorrow by 2pm , we'd be going to the doctor to check your foot, don't bother about going to work, I already called Mr Evans , I told him you're sick and you won't make it ..."
"Wtf! Youth!!!!!" I yell, gosh is this what its like to be in a relationship? Everything gets to be decided for you?
"I'm sorry okay, I don't want you stressing yourself" he says with a smirk ,
I'm still fuming
He bends and places a kiss on my forehead,
"Good night my love " he says and move to he walk out , then stops half way ,
" i forgot to say, You looked very beautiful in that dress tonight "
He says with a smile , he walks out and closes the door behind him .
