I break the kiss, youth has his hands around my waist our faces are so close with our lips almost touching, our breath is unsteady , youth is staring deeply into my eyes, and I, into his searching for answers to my doubt,
I'm I making a mistake? does he truly loves me? Can I trust him just yet? Is it okay to set the fragile girl in me free? Is it okay to let my guard down and allow myself to depend my happiness on someone?
A troubled mind, but a peaceful silence, words unsaid
Youth let's go of my waist and cups my face In his large palms
"I swear suz, I'd never hurt you, I promise, trust me you aren't making a mistake " youth says reassuringly as if to answer my mind questions ,
For once in my life I think its time I finally let someone in,
I had a hard childhood with my mom and without the attention of my father, life forced me into growing into adulthood way sooner than my age ,
I should let my guard down just a little, something keeps saying I'm doing the right thing, but the larger part of me is so scared to fall.
"I think we should get back to the party before Carla or Jake files missing persons report" I smirk and we both giggle
Youth kisses me once more
"They would understand I just got a girlfriend and let me enjoy my moment a little" youth smirks ,
Youth kisses me again , this time more passionately ,
"I love you Susan, I really do" he says,
And I stay quiet staring into the blueness of his eyes ,
"Its okay , you don't have to say the words just yet, I won't force it, say it when you're sure in your heart that you love me too, and trust me, I'll make you love me suz, I will" youth says confidently before placing a kiss on my forehead ,
Youth phone rings disrupting our moment, he looks at the caller ID ,
And scowls,
"Its Richie, he's probably looking for us, we should go" youth says grudgingly ,
He takes my hand in his , leading me out of the room, the warmth of his palm feels like an unsaid promise, I can't help but feel secured,
I don't know about now, but
I'm going to love this man....
