"Breathe in, breathe out."

I was panting, the world felt as if it was crashing down. My entire body was shivering despite it being room temperature in here.

I was kneeling against the ground, my hands trying to keep me from falling apart, there was an aching pain in my chest. And once it felt like a pierce through my stomach, I saw something;

I saw my mother, she had a gun pointing at my face but this time it wasn't shaking in her hand, she was staring dead into my soul and as my eyes widened, her mouth formed a smirk.

"I'm not going to miss this time, Lesley."
she pulled the trigger, blinding my sight.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Odette asked, "You were screaming last night, I don't know what happened but you sounded horrified."

I shook my head, "I'll be fine, Odette. I've already missed a couple days of class."

"Yeah, but a day ago you were shot. Shouldn't you just rest today?"

"I'll be okay, I promise." I nodded,

"Alright, but if anything happens, you need to tell me, okay?"

"I will."

I was walking down the halls, heading to my home room and felt a hand on my shoulder, at that moment, I felt a sign of relief. I knew it was Paxley, and a smile formed on my face.
I turned, and saw my mother once again.

I shook my head and blinked a couple
times, it can't be her. No, it can't be.

"Hey, Lesley."

I regained focus, "C-Claude?"

There honestly could've been worse options, and this was mediocre.

"W-What are you doing here?" I asked,
"I mean... am I dreaming? Or--"

"No, you're not dreaming, I'm a new
student here." he smiled,

"New student?"

"Yeah, after you told me to find a place where
I could find myself, the only place I would've thought was here." he shrugged,
