"Mister Paxley... and to my surprise, Miss Vance. It appears that both of you are late." Natalia frowned,

"Sorry...." I mumbled, "We sort of just lost track of time and--"

"We're only a couple minutes late." Paxley shrugged,

"Yes, but it doesn't matter how long, all what matters is that you were." Natalia glared at the both of us, "You do realize you pretty much live in the school, don't you? So it is impossible to be late."

"I-I'm sorry, it won't happen again." I said,

"And Mister Paxley?"

"Yeah me too, it won't happen again..."

"If you're late to my class one more time, you'll  have to spend the rest of the day with me. Be on time you two."

Gusion and I took our seats at the front, Saber was sitting beside Fanny in Karina's place, he gave us a concerned look, and I shrugged as a response. Natalia slammed the door shut.

I sat down on my chair, and in the corner of my eye I could see Claude looking at both me and Paxley. It's been a bit of a while since I've talked to him, and I've wanted to fix things, but I just didn't know how.

"The Championship Tournament is in roughly two weeks." Natalia said, "But days before that, you have four exams for each of your classes. Since this is your first period, this will be your first exam."

I heard Paxley sigh, "Ugh, I hate exams..."

"But If you study hard enough Mister Gusion, you might actually pass this time." Natalia snapped, "And you won't have to waste your practices for the CT due to retests. Today I'll give you a review, and I'm not forcing you to do it, but the amount of effort you put into this, will depend on whether you pass my class."

Gusion nudged me on the shoulder, "Vance you're helping me study."

"Don't you remember last time I helped you study?"

"Yeah, and I got a B."

"That took pretty long, Paxley. Are you sure we're going to have enough time to study for these exams and practice for the CT?"

"This exam can't be that bad anyways." he shrugged, "The review is probably just a page-"

Gusion was cut off as Natalia threw a thick package of papers onto both of our desks. I chuckled as Paxley's mouth opened wide, I placed my hand under his chin and closed his mouth for him.

"You've got to be joking." Gusion scoffed, he then turned to Saber, "Saber, you think you're going to pass this exam?"

"I think I'll take my fifty-six percent." Saber nodded,
