minor warning guys (should i really?) but there is a smol bit that's like a tad lemony?

i don't know how to explain but it's not that bad (well the writing is lmfao) ,, and it's marked with a " ~•~ " in case you might get squirmy or somethin lolol this warning is probably pointless ~~

10:45am, The Lunar Hospital

"Did you really have to leave me with him?"

"Martis I have no choice." I shrugged, "I have to go to Estes and Hylos' Graduation, but I can't leave Gusion by himself."

"What? I'll be fine on my own..." Paxley mumbled,

"It's not that. Knowing you, you might sneak out of the Hospital." I frowned, "Which can't happen because you literally had your surgery yesterday."

"Vance I'm not going to sneak out, don't worry..."

"I am worrying." I sighed, "Just... don't go anywhere, okay? I'll be back before you know it."

"But isn't your brother's party a couple hours after the Graduation Ceremony?" Martis crossed his arms, "Does that mean I have to--"

"Stay here?" I cut him off, "Um... maybe."

"What? Maybe?!" Martis snapped, I don't think I've ever seen him so angry over a party. Why would he be mad anyways?

"I don't know, the nurse told Paxley to stay here for three whole days. Which means he can't go to the party either."

"So you're making me stay with him again?" Martis' brow raised, causing me to sigh once again.

"Well if you want to go to the party so badly then I'll stay with him." I rolled my eyes, "Will that satisfy you enough?"

"N-No, I don't know honestly..."

I took a deep breath for a moment, only to glare at Martis and say, "What?! Then why are you getting angry?! I don't get it--"

"Okay... you guys sound like an old married couple." Odette cut me off, "And Gusion is your son. No offence but it's just what you sound like."

I turned to her, "Huh? Isn't that offensive since Paxley and I are dating?"

"Doesn't matter, I just wanted to get your attention since you're arguing like kids." Odette  said, "The Graduation Ceremony is in less than two hours, and heading back to MLU from here takes long so we should go."

I sighed, "Fine... we'll be back, and we'll have this conversation later."

"Alright..." Martis nodded,
