"Where have you been for the past few days, Les?"

"Yeah, you've been pretty distant lately." Estes added,

"Are you alright?" Hylos asked,

"I'm fine guys, really."

"I rarely see you in the dorms anymore." Odette sighed, "You've also been kinda late for practice. Are you sure you're okay?"

I nodded, "I'm okay...."

"Are you a hundred percent sure?" she asked,

"Yes I'm sure."

"The past few days have been really rough for all of us. You promise you're okay, Les?"

"I promise. I'm heading to class, so... I'll see you guys later."

"Okay, see you at lunch."

I could hear people whispering as I walked down the hall to Assassin Class. I felt people looking at me as I kept walking, it was weird. It made me feel weird.

I wanted to turn around, but at the same time I didn't want to know what was behind me. This wasn't how most of my Wednesday mornings start. If anything, I'm normally glad I made it through half of the week.

But today, and for the past few days, I've been barely holding up. About a couple more pushes, and I'll fall down.

I opened the door, and to my surprise, Paxley, Saber, Karina and Martis were early. Well, Martis isn't even in our class, and the other three are never this early so... something must've been up.

"What's going on?" I asked as I closed the door lightly,

"You have to see this, Vance. Come over here and look."

I headed towards them and took a seat beside Gusion. He held his phone in front of my face, and on the screen was the school website.

"Read the title." Martis said,

I looked at the big bold letters at the top of the screen, and I could feel my mind rip apart. I blinked once again to regain focus of what I just read. Once I saw the same title, I shook my head. Opening my eyes, I saw the same fucking title; Royals Team Leader, Lancelot, found as both murderer of Selena and confirmed dead by police.

I sighed, "There's no way that's true..."

"Keep reading." Saber said, "It gets even worse."

Paxley scrolled down to the rather short article, which said; "The powerful team leader of the top team, the Royals, was confirmed dead with his body burned into complete ashes. He was also claimed to be the murderer of first year, Selena Shadow. It is confirmed by both the S.A.B.E.R Squad and authorities that Lancelot Baroque was murdered.
It is stated that Lancelot and Selena were friends, so it is possible that the death of Lancelot was caused by one of his lovely friends as well. Possibly one of teammates. Perhaps the teammates of the top team, the Royals, have been overworked by their team leader, or they may want to take over the team themselves. Questions have still been left unanswered, but stay tuned for any interviews or further news."
