Today, I met this perfect stranger. It was as if I was the real me with him... As weird as it sounds, as absurd it felt, it was absolutely freeing...
~ Aavya, after her surprise encounter with someone.

The announcement did leave poor Aman in a quandary. A day before Ansh didn't give a damn about what Aman had to say or do. But, tonight the tables had turned. He was overwhelmed with emotions but one thing he was sure of, his father would never play with him. If he meant he'd bolster Aman, he will support.

So all that was left to do now were - celebrations.

" Ayan, go check whether the sweets and hampers are ready with Rick." Rick was their manager.

Ayan didn't have the slightest idea of the sequence of events that happened tonight, nevertheless, like the ideal son and a supportive brother that he was, he made sure that all the partners left with the hampers which not only had expensive vouchers and sweets but also Aman's plan on the course of the restaurants.

Ayan made a note in his mind that he really shouldn't ever doubt the capability of his parents, not that he did but he never should. He was extremely happy for Aman but on the same hand, he was worried as shit about Aavya. As soon as the guests left he needed to go find her as one thing he is sure of, she won't be home if he doesn't bring her.

" Careful.." A deep voice and a set of strong arms caught hold of Aavya's fragile form as she ran into a stranger on Mumbai's iconic, Marine Drive.

She had cried herself out, her eyes were swollen and red, her face was like a boiled potato, only so much crimson. There were fewer people on the long stretch of the footpath alongside the sea at that hour.

Aavya steadied herself and looked up to find a gorgeous man holding her firm. His round grey eyes didn't blink at all. As he realised she was alright he let her go.
He was kind of sweaty in his track pants and a t-shirt with ear pods in his ears. A dedicated fitness enthusiast she noted. Then he quickly removed them.

" You should be more careful, Aavya. It's not every time that you will crash into me."

Now He was a perfect stranger who knew her name.

She pushed him away as soon as realised the weirdness and creepiness of the situation. For a moment he had all her attention but now she was just praying that he wasn't a kidnapper after all.

" W-Who are you? S-stay away. I'll call the pol... " She couldn't finish as he burst into laughs.

" I'm so sorry..." He was still laughing.

" I didn't mean to scare you." He said in between his chortle.

" Excuse me."

" Okay! I'm off. Crazy..." Aavya turned to walk but instead was pull back up him.

" What the..."

" Before you cuss. I'm Dr. Miher. You bumped me into the hospital about a month ago. " He said hurriedly and glad he did or else a violent punch was on his way. He let her hand go.

" Wow. I never thought doctors had such a good memory and also, doctors can be creepy. Honestly, I don't remember you. So, Bye. You creepy doctor. " She waved her hand and turned around, walking two steps.
