Liana^ I do not own this drawing also dont sue me
She turned in a slow circle as they sparked back to reality, taking in her surroundings. Cold, white concrete walls, long hallways with metal doors, and pristine tile floor.
"Where are we?" she demanded, staring at Blackthorne.
He chuckled darkly, making her want to slam him into the wall. "I was happy to be going back to SEAM headquarters, but now, I have an added bonus."
Taylor kicked him harshly in the ribs, wincing at his stomach. "Take us back."
Blackthorne shook his head. "No, I have a feeling the scientists will want to see her." he pointed to Liana.
She shivered, but raised him in the air. "Take us back right now."
"I'm not scared," he scoffed. "You won't kill me."
Liana flipped her knife over, twirling it in the air towards his neck. "Try me."
He held her glare, but reached towards the wall, and, in one fluid motion, pulled the fire alarm.
"NO!" Iris shouted as officers streamed through the hallways like hot liquid. They immediately saw Liana and her friends, pointing guns at their heads.
One stepped forward. "Put Blackthorne down, and we won't shoot."
She narrowed her eyes, tempted to push them all back, Iris shook her head, and Liana knew that there were too many. Reluctantly she dropped Blackthorne, making sure to slam him against the tile for good measure.
Guards rushed forward, snapping cold metal handcuffs around their wrists and sleek silver collars around their necks.
"This blocks our abilities," Taylor whispered. "Remember? From my vision?"
She did remember, a little too well, and focused on her handcuffs, trying to slide them off, but the collar felt like a large metal shield between her and the cuffs, blocking her from moving them.
The guards pushed them down boring white hallways, twisting so many times that Liana lost track of where they were. Metal pipes began working along the wall, too thin for plumbing. The connecting pieces had a strange bluish tinge from where the liquid leaked out, almost like...
Blueblood.
SEAM officers led them into a dead end that had one door, which an officer showed his handprint for and typed in a complicated passcode. Finally, it swung open, revealing thick metal walls lined with cots. There were about a dozen people inside, all wearing silver collars and cuffs around their wrists, which were hooked up to the piping in the walls.
"What is this?" Iris demanded, looking at all the Bluebloods that were staring at them.
Taylor shook his head, as if he wasn't able to comprehend what he was seeing. "They're using their blood."
He pointed to the back wall, which had a chamber made entirely of glass. Inside, a Blueblood without a collar zipped from one place to another, glitching in one place and reappearing in another.
"The cuff around his wrist measures what his heartbeat is doing as he makes the jumps. But..."
Liana jumped in for him as she realized what was going on."Teleporting isn't one of the six abilities."
