"So I've been working on a song." Brendon sat his backpack down next to Dallon's bed and looked up at the beaming boy. "Can I hear it?" He sat down on Dallon's bed, waiting for a response. "I...um... I've never performed for anyone. So if it sucks, I'm sorry." He grabbed his acoustic guitar and sat down on the floor in front of Brendon. "You're gonna be great. Now I wanna hear this song!" They both giggled as Dallon prepared himself to play. He started strumming a catchy melody. Brendon couldn't help but tap his foot to the beat.

"Could this be love at first sight, or should I walk by again? You're photogenically dressed, the conversation begins. Oh god, now what did I say? Let me start over again."

Brendon was smiling. He couldn't help it. He didn't know if this song was about him, but he could tell by the way he sang that it was something that meant a lot to him.

"Could this be love at first sight, oh wait I said that before. I need a place for the night, happy to sleep on the floor, but don't go out of your way and I won't talk anymore."

He giggled at the self-awareness in the first little verse. He was slightly blushing now, still tapping his foot to the beat.

"Turn the lights off, I'm in love..."

His eyes widened a bit. He still wasn't sure if this was about him, but if it was, was this his way of telling him he loved him? He had never said it before. Neither of them had. Brendon smiled as Dallon continued singing.

"Wouldn't you like to, wouldn't you like to, kiss him? Wouldn't you like to, wouldn't you like to, dance with him?
Darkened nights and violent things, vaudevillian girls and violin strings,
all of these are the prettiest things when I'm... in love..."

There was a little instrumental. During this, Dallon stood up and walked closer to the bed, and sat down next to Brendon. He turned his body a little bit to see the taller boy smiling up at him, soon looking back down at his guitar.

"Turn the lights off, I'm falling in love with you... Wouldn't you like to, wouldn't you like to, kiss him? Wouldn't you like to, wouldn't you like to, dance with him? Dark, dark nights and violent things, vaudevillian girls and violin strings, all of these are the prettiest things when I'm... in love..."

He ended the song and sat the guitar on the floor. He looked up at Brendon who was in awe. His face was red, he was grinning ear to ear, he could've even swore he was almost teared up. "Soooo, what'd you think?" Brendon giggled and hugged the boy tight. "I loved it Dallon!" The boy returned the hug. "I mean it, you know?" Brendon looked at the boy, keeping his arms around Dallon. He was practically in his lap now, because his legs were around the other boys waist. "Meant what?" Dallon turned slightly red and looked the boy in the eyes. "I...I think I love you, Brendon." His heart was beating fast. He felt butterflies in his stomach and his face turning redder and redder. "Dallon, I love you too." They both smiled at each other, for this is the happiest they've been in a while. They exchanged a kiss. Soft at first, but it turned passionate. Before anything else could happen, they heard a voice from across the room. "Dallon?" They turned their heads in shock and saw Dallon's dad standing in the doorway.
Brendon's heart sunk and Dallon looked like he had just seen a ghost. This isn't good.

A/N: I had to add some sort of plot twist to make this interesting. Don't worry, I have ideas:)

Also, the song used in this chapter is called Love At First Sight by The Brobecks. All credit goes to them.
