When Kurt headed down to breakfast, Sebastian lead him over to a table in the middle of the room.

Kurt sat next to him, but nobody seemed to notice him. They were all cheerfully greeting Sebastian, becoming charged with energy when they saw he was in a good mood.

"Guys!" Sebastian called over them. They stopped talking. "This is Kurt, he's my new roommate. Kurt, this is... well, a bunch of people that I'm not going to introduce individually right now." They all chuckled at that.

"It's about time you finally get a roommate. I thought you were going to be alone all year." A hispanic boy rolled his eyes. "Now you can suffer with the rest of us."

"Hey, you act like I'm a bad roommate!" A blonde objected.

"You're a fucking rooster, Jeff. Up at dawn and noisy."

"It's not my fault you sleep in until noon." Jeff crossed his arms.

"Actually, I don't. Because of you."

"I'd happily switch with you, but the rules won't let us." A dark-haired boy next to Jeff shrugged.

"What do you mean?" Kurt asked.

Jeff sighed. "The school rules don't let boyfriends share a dorm. It sucks."

Kurt's shoulders seemed to rise, as if he had set down a heavy weight. "So that's just something you can mention in passing here? No ridicule?"

"We could literally start making out right here and now and nobody would bat an eye." The dark-haired boy said in a deadpan voice.

"Well, because we're already dating. If Blaine started making out with Thad, on the other hand... Chaos." Jeff reasoned.

The hispanic boy, whom Kurt assumed was Thad, snorted. "Yeah right. I'd like to see the looks on people's faces when the lead of the Warblers starts making out with the aro-ace."

A boy with gelled down hair chuckled, drawing Kurt's attention to him. He hadn't noticed him before, as he was so far down the table. Kurt figured he must be Blaine.

"And because you two have made out in front of pretty much everyone in this school before." A dark-skinned boy said dryly.

"I suppose I should catch you up. Nick and I are dating, Thad's aro-ace, Blaine's gay and single, David and Wes are both straight," Jeff gestured to the boy who had just spoken and an asian boy sitting next to each other, "Hunter claims he's straight but we don't know what the fuck he's doing in Sebastian's dorm all the time-"

"Annoying me." Sebastian interrupted.

"-even though he always says that he's just annoying him or bugging him, Sebastian's gay, and... I don't think I missed anyone. Except you."

"Me?" Kurt asked. "Oh, I'm gay. Like, really gay. And single, not that it matters."

"What do you mean, not that it matters?" Sebastian questioned.

Kurt shrugged. "The chance of me dating someone is very low."

"Not impossible." Sebastian pointed out optimistically.

Kurt nodded, not wanting to crush his cheery spirit. "True. It's not impossible."
